Eastern Glass Lizard

I've been given one, but I can't find a lot about them. I actually stumbled upon this forum in my searches, but that was a "for sale" listing from quite a while back. Does anyone else own one? I've had it (is there a visual way to tell sex?) for two weeks now, and it seems to be doing well. I have a 20 tall, but am looking for a 20 long tank for now, with plans on a 40 or 55 once I get moved. It really likes crickets, seems to have no interest in mealworms or earthworms, though I continue to try and offer both.
Any tips are welcome!!

I know this is a little late, but here's a link to a caresheet I wrote on these guys.

Thank you! That's a bit more than what I've been able to find in my searches. I guess I'm doing everything right with this one, as it has shed twice and its color is much brighter than when I first got it.
Should it eat anything other than the crickets?

leegless lizard

i have had my giant russian leggless for about 3 years now and it only really likes frozen adult mice,so if yours is big enough try some, maybe even smaller fuzzys would not hurt, have a good time with your leggless.

European Legless are a totally different species than an Eastern Legless Lizard.

Asking the Eastern Legless Lizard to eat a fuzzie is like asking a sand boa to eat a medium rat!

I suggest as much variety. Ive kept both an Eastern GL and a Russian in the past and fed them very similarly on a mixture of insects (crickets and mealworms), raw egg (offered once every couple weeks) and canned monitor/tegu diet. I never offered them rodents as that is not their typical prey in nature, although a mouse offered as a rare treat every so often is fine. I would suggest rodents as a primary food source.

As for other insects, try earthworms (red wigglers and night crawlers), and waxworms.
