Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I know this will probably be of little use, as the regulars to these Ads are aware of this, but please look at the date of the ad you are looking at before you reply. Common sense would dictate that someone who was selling Baby Jackson's or needed to get rid of their Veileds because they were moving 2 YEARS AGO probably still don't have them for sale.
Oh man this is one of my pet peeves. If the person who posted the for sale ad would simply remove it when the item(s) are sold, we would not have this problem at all.
Yeah, it might be too harsh, but maybe start giving warning points for outdated ads. If you are going to go through the trouble of posting an animal for sale, when it's sold take the 2 minutes to lock the thread or add a sold post. If it's not sold, bump it up every once in a while saying the animal is still available, otherwise delete the darn thing or lock it.
