Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

No anoles eaten last night by T3. There are 5 anoles remaining in the cage. I am going to leave the experiment running while I am gone and will update when I return.

Update on Harper
So I did decide to try handling on Monday night. I made sure he was already out so that I wouldn't disturb him too much. Slowly and carefully I encouraged him to climb onto my hand - he did seem to prefer the branches and attempted escape, but with a little coaxing I got him to wrap himself around my fingers and just sit staring at me for a good 20 minutes. Didn't musk, didn't strike, just watched. My general rule of thumb when handling snakes is to more or less move at the rate that they move, so as not to unnecessarily startle them. Seemed to work with Harper, as when I went to put him back he didn't even try to hide immediately - he just calmly started exploring the branches in his enclosure. Better yet, his little excursion didn't even put him off food - he ate a scented pinky last night. All in all, it went quite well!

I got back into town and there are 2 anoles left in t3's cage. It looks as though he is sticking to the rate of one anole every other day. I plan to feed everyone tomorrow and will update with results.

Hey Chris,
I don't want to derail your thread, but I have a question about bird-eating boas and as far as I know you are the only one doing it regularly. Would you (or anyone else on here who may feed chicks to snakes) mind having a look at my thread in General Herp Talk?
Cheers
Helen

Another anole was eaten last night. I've been playing catchup and haven't had the chance to feed the others yet. Tomorrow for sure.
I'll check out your thread shortly, Helen. Thanks.
