    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thank You

I wanted to say Thank You to everyone we have gotten to know over the years. I "officially" retired from breeding balls this year. It has been 13 years since our first ball python clutch. We never once lost the excitement of seeing those noses sticking out of the eggs for the first time. This is a great hobby. Full of great people. Professional people. Honest people. People of the highest passion. I have kept just about everything you could keep over the last 37 yrs. Ball pythons are the best overall python there is in my experience. They are great for the person who wants a pet python. They are great for the person who loves the challenge of breeding and raising offspring. They are great for the collector who "can't have just one" or "wants one of each". They are great for educating others who are unfamiliar with the pleasures we all share keeping and watching these serene and graceful snakes. There are too many people to list by name who have been a wonderful experience in my life with these creations of God's infinite beauty and gracefulness. I am indebted to you all.

James and Vickie, good luck with the ventures that are ahead of you!

Come see our new adventure

Thanks for the good wishes. We still love ball pythons. We still have 10 reptiles as pets.

Our new web presence will be at heartofadoption.org give the site a few weeks to be published. It is a work in progress and we are not savy about the internet ourselves. Our oldest son is helping us because we are so pathetically lost when it comes to web site design, lol. We help promote adoption of children at no or least possible cost to families. We charge not a penny for helping to facilitate the adoptions. We also have support group for adopters, adoptees, birth families.

It was the right time to go full force into the next chapter of our lives. Please pass along to anyone who may be thinking of adopting a child that we will do what we can to help them make contacts, cut the red tape, save $$$. The cost is what holds some people back. People who would be a great family for a great kid or kids. It does not have to be that way.

That is a wonderful goal! I hope it is successful. :) We have so many children out there that need someone that, imho, it's almost a shame to breed our own.
