Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

By "blocked" do you mean "banned?" If so, then the following explains why members get banned...

If you try to access a member's profile before their account is approved (new members) you will get that message...I'm not sure if you can access a banned member's profile (and I don't have time to log into my dummy account to sort it out right now.
*I'm thinking that signature isn't the most appropriate for the general forums

I just check out a banned members profile, so they are accessible. My mistake, I thought the OP was asking why certain members are listed as "banned."

the column to the left of the screen that shows who is online had a few user names that were in red. I tried to access one of these and the message said I didnt have enough access or something along those lines
