Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I consider my juvies 5 to 8 months of old, sub adults 8 to 11 months old and adults over a year. A healthy adult can be anywhere between 250+ grams on up

If you are talking in just general terms I would think anything less than 18 months is a sub adult as dragons should continue to grow/develop until that point, sometimes even a little longer. Difference between a juvie and a sub adult, I would go by size......maybe 12-14" would be the cutoff??? Never really thought about it, lol.
For breeding purposes I feel that normally females shouldn't be bred until the 14-18 month range. I just can't see rushing them. I did have one that bred this year at a young age which was not on purpose, but it happened. She was about 9 months old and 400 grams. All her eggs were good and she laid I believe 2 clutches off the one breeding. I would have preferred to wait till she finished developing, cooled her, then bred her, but hey mistakes happen.
