**Local Pickup Only Please**
A friend of a friend of mine who irresponsibly hoards animals was overheard saying he was tired of his albino burmese because she was getting too big and a little aggressive and he planned on driving it down to the everglades "like everybody else."
My friend was present and told him that was a very irresponsible, illegal thing to do, so he brought the snake to ME. I keep ball pythons only and do NOT have a permit to keep a Burmese python which is now required in the state of Florida! But I accepted the snake because I did not want that moron to toss it in the everglades. I need to find a proper home for this animal PRONTO.
Using my ball python knowledge which I imagine applies to burmese as well, she appears healthy to me, not skinny, no respiratory issues that I can tell. I do NOT know if this is a female, that is what the owner claims and I do not have probes for a snake this size. She will eat f/t jumbo rats no problem. She is at LEAST 6 feet long, probably longer. She hisses and will strike at the glass but if you pull her out with a hook or use a glove she is really nice once you have picked her up. It seems to be a "kept in the closet for awhile" type of issue if you know what I mean. With regular handling she would make a suitable and beautiful pet, or a breeder if you really think more huge snakes should be out there.....
She is completely and totally free, but you have to come pick her up, and if you are a Florida resident please bring your permit along!!! I would like to see this snake go with someone who knows what they are doing!!! I live just outside Pensacola Florida in Milton, the zip is 32570.
