Economically Friendly Blood Python Housing

In the future I'd like to own a blood python or a borneo short tail. What sort of housing set up do you use and what did it cost you to build? Would a large tub work?

Also, what is your preferred method of heating for bloods and borneos?

Hello. It's great you are doing your research ahead of time!
We use appropriately sized rubbermaid/sterilite containers. Always have a water source large enough for them to fit their bodies in completely. We either use Scott paper towels, or newspaper for substrate. We keep our snake room with an ambient temp of around 83 degrees. All of our animals are doing fantastic. If you have any forther questions feel free to PM me and I'll try and help ya out the best I can.

Thank you for responding! How do you alter the tubs to make them suitable for a snake? I can't heat my house to that degree either. I don't have a seperate room for my herps unfortunately. What is the best heating source to use? UTH? And can a UTH be used with a sterlite bin? Thank you again!
