Product Description
The revolutionary Saber Bass SL Models are high performance, professional basses designed with the exclusive and patented Optical Pickup System, making the Saber's tone and playing experience unlike any other bass. The Saber SL is a superbly crafted instrument, featuring a solid alder body. The reinforced neck is a 34-inch scale three piece laminate of rock maple with a two octave rosewood fingerboard. The hardware is black chrome, and the bridge is a unique custom carbon/graphite monolith, an individual assembly for each string which also integrates the transducer system. The Saber Bass is a lightweight, comfortable design that is familiar in feel, revolutionary in concept, and inspiring to play. The Saber Bass will enable the player to create a highly detailed bass soundscape, composed of rich complex harmonics, vocal mids, and sparkling highs, built on a foundation of strong, bold, and focused low end response. Players will immediately recognize the perfectly balanced sound, clean string to string separation, precise note articulation, wide dynamic range, and excellent sustain. A powerful and versatile onboard EQ section gives the player easy access to the enhanced tonal palette, and superb touch sensitivity creates an intimate connection with the string and the instrument. Extreme low noise makes the Saber Bass an asset in the recording studio environment.
