Dude's turn

It was Dude's turn for a few pics today, so here ya go.

Note the white in the scales above the second saddle below the head. His dad Sammy has similar scales, and he's a DH. Think it might be another indicator/marker for het albinos, sorta like the eye theory? (which is what I used to hold him back BTW)?

Anyway, nuff said. '08 model Reversed Stripe Hypo (BCCxBCI)...

Thanks for looking!
Rick

That's a beautiful boa with a really clean pattern and nice coloring. If he's a poss het, I would certainly be inclined to believe he could prove out, based on the white scales, although I'm used to seeing more of them on (some of) my hets.

the Dude abides!

he's looking good!

the white scales could be an indicator, I'm used to seeing more of a white granite type look over more of the snake but that doesn't mean much (my proven het doesn't have any white scales).

He actually has quite a few scales like that, but that group of scales makes it a bit more obvious to see.

I think in a couple more years, this will be the right lady to put him with. Both are really clean, so I can imagine some super clean babies. If he proves het, cool. If not, all the babies will be. I hate to think about if he passes that tail on.

Thanks for the comps everyone.
