Patrick, you need to calm down and should not be posting this. What if he had a car accident or was sick or had to pick up his kids? It could be anything. If you don't have your animals in a couple weeks worry about it. Not after being one day late. Evan

You say you eamiled him and he has not returned your emails or calls. Then you had a friend call him about other animals for sale. Why didn't you just get on the phone when the friend reached him? You had him on the line and missed your chance. Try the same thing again.

I understand your concerns; but can tell you from experience that going ballistic about it will not help. Keep trying to reach this person. If it was me and there no response after a week then I would be very concerned that I had been ripped off too. In my opinion, at that time, I would post on the BOI. Whether or not you do so is up to you.

There is the possibility that he cannot make outgoing calls or use his internet service. Who knows - stranger things have happened. I doubt he was in an accident or something catastrophic because you say he did take that call from your friend. The thing that Exan is 100% right about is that you seem to be losing your cool after only one day. If it has only been a day or two give it a break - maybe the guy has had some sort of problems and has a list of customers to contact - you maybe last on the list.

If it is a week and a half after he was supposed to have shipped, and he has not returned your emails...keep emailing him and calling him--that is not acceptable.    Meanwhile you may want to take it to the BOI.

you may want to consult a calander and get your timeline straight.  It will help.

In your first post dated 10/22, which is a tuesday,  you said they were supposed to arrive yesterday indicating 10/21 which is a Monday.  most people won't be shipping next day for a Monday arrival.

in your second post you said

"He said he would ship on monday to arrive on tuesday (Last week) sorry its just anyone who this has happened to will understand!!"

indicating the dates of 10/14 and 10/15 respectively

then you say they are week and a half late.  Hate to be a nitpicker here but they are only a week and a day late (I know its only 2 days difference)

Still, you may have a legitimate concern.  If your friend can get through it seems as though he is avoiding you.  I suggest you get your facts straight (not saying this in a mean way, just telling you not to guess on anything that may not be exact or at least to put that in your post) and make a post on the BOI in another week if you don't here from him.

start with who contacted who first, who had what to trade, what kind of deal was discussed and agreed upon.  who agreed to ship when, was any acknowledgement made of your shipment etc.  Put all the facts, and just the facts,  in the post.  Don't make anything up or acuse him of anything you are not sure of.

finally, please don't skip any more school.

"finally, please don't skip any more school."
Make me LOL.

On a serious note he hasn't e-mailed me back yet the trade was my 1.1 albino het balls, and a surinam redtail (Really nice 2) for a albin ball with two problems that he told me 1.  stubborn feeder (Easy to deal with) and he had a temper and one eye and no one else in his clutch did so it wasn't gentic and i figured if i could get ahead (even with a ball with some problems) it would be great.

Sorry, Its been a rough few weeks for me.

Anything that is not environmental or phenotypic (like for example incubation temperature inducing odd colored/patterned hatchlings) will be genetic. Even though it is just one out of a clutch it is most probably a trait that will be passed along. It will porbably be reccesive though but it matched up with another recessive gene it will result in a one-eyed or maybe even blind baby. There are no shortcuts to these proven facts. You can read more about inheritance in any middle school biology book (I know because my daughter who is 14th is just going through that subject matter). Maybe you are better off by getting your animals or the money equivalent back.

Regards

thats sad ..no snakes..i would be very impatient myself getting so excited about receiving a nice animal..im sure we all do.
i would call this person and explain what you are feeling and ask what the problem is.
try not to sound angry or attack the person..just reasonable and whats up sort of thing..save the attack for later if or when you find out your being taken on a ride.
