Snake egg ??'s

My Jalisco Milk laid 10 eggs. After a day or two they were showing signs of dehydration. I candeled them thinking they were no good but I could see veins. I have since then rehydrated them (most of them except a couple on the top of the pile) but they have developed dark spots on the shell. I candeled them last night and could still see veins but they weren't as transparent as before. Does this sound normal or did I lose them to dehydration? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

If you use moss in the laybox, that could explain the dark spots. The moss stains the eggs.

Some of those look ok still but others don't. I would just incubate them all and see what happens, making sure that you don't allow them to dry out again. You can always pull out the gonners later.

All I am using is vermiculite mixed 50/50 by weight with water. I placed a wet paper towel over them to hydrate them. The ones on the bottom are doing good but they have the same spots on the ends of the eggs. But I will incubate them and see what happens.

I'm just south of you, about an hour and 15 from Modesto, Scott. Yes, Gringolandia is a joke.
