Suriname Boa Breeding

Hi!

I have recently acquired a beautiful male suriname red tail boa. His colors are phenomenal. I have always wanted a suriname and my main plan is to keep this snake as a pet. I am kind of on the fence about breeding. I understand that Surinames in particular are kind of a pain in the butt to breed. I've tried doing some research in the Vince Russo Boa book and on the internet and haven't found anything other than they are hard as hell to breed. Is there anyone here who has successfully done this? If so, how was it different than bci? I don't have a female right now and, depending on the information I get, I might not, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew any more information on breeding these beautiful snakes.

Thanks!

Well breeding on surinames happens a lot later then your typical colombian. Most people seem to breed them right before spring Feb-March.
