Hatchling ID

I'll try to get a digital camera so I can post pics, but for now I'll try to give a good description. I have a hatchling who is dark brown, with raised yellow dots down his spine, and three red dots on each side of his carapace. He has a yellow plastron and is slightly larger than a quarter. He seems to dry out very quickly in his terrarium for land turtles, but cannot swim in deep water. He does not have webbed feet, and cannot sink himself. He does seem very happy in shallow water, though. Any ideas?

Sounds like a young eastern box turtle.
Keep in a land enclosure but keep the air very moist.
