Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Concern about Shao Khan.
Well, my Fiancee feed her this morning and watched her eat so I am describing this as he told me. He said he was watching her eat and it looked like one of her food claws had mold on it. Green mold?? What is that, and how is it treated or corrected??? Its an adult Emperor Scorpion. If I could do with her like we do with our Reptiles I'd be in there right now with a q-tip trying to wash it off. Stingers though man. That and its in her. The green stuff is on one of her two inside mouth claws. You know what I mean...hopefully. Can anything be done?? Shes in the cricket keeper with dirt and her rock. No water bowl. I read it was unnecessary. I had asked about this water thing before but nobody replied. Thanks for any info you can provide.

With my scorps I never use a water bowl...just the way I do things and all are fine. A humid hide does help though in shedding.
SKhan is an emporer so they usually have a greenish tint to them under some lights...The 'mold' is it fuzzy or just a color of her exoskeleton ?.
UV lights and black lights bring out this color and it is more pronounced in the mouth , cept under a black light the whole scorp is a bright green, that's how we hunt scorps at night. It's a heck of a sight at night seeing this alien looking thing glow so bright, easy to find. Hope this helped

Oops, sorry I haven't gotten back to ya. Things have been busy. That and I haven't seen anything. My Fiancee saw it so I don't know. We've been watching her eat and we haven't seen anything. We don't have any special lights on her, just regular bedroom light. I do have a black light and we went to try and use it when we first got her but the bulb is out and we haven't gotten another one yet. With all this heating my Reptiles I've put it on the back burner. Like I said I haven't seen anything so I am thinking maybe she glowed weird. My Snakes underbellies in normal lighting glisten. Maybe her exoskeloten shined funny. She has been VERY active this past couple of weeks like shes hunting or something. Shes never in her hide. lol Thats cool because I like watching her. If we find anything suspicious I'll let ya know. Question though. I read Scorpions need heat. Do you heat your Emperors?? I was thinking about Hermit crab uth, or maybe just putting my black light on her? Info? Thank You!
