New Girls!!

I just got two new female Mali uros in. They are very big and fat, so hopefully they will get along when I put them in Kiros' cage in a few months. They ate well today, a good sign for sure.









I love animal psychology, in their world if they cannot see us then we do not exist. Kind of like the cat trying to be sneaky so it can pounce on the cricket in the grass. When the cat is so close to a blade of grass that it can no longer see the cricket, then surely the cricket cannot see the cat.

THose are great looking, I am thinking about getting a 1.2 trio of adult malis for breeding

I was a bit worried about getting these two, female Malis are so drab in color, most of the ones I have seen are just brown, but these two have a lot of yellow and great pattern on their tails, I am extremely happy with them. I am thinking of the names Thelma and Louise for these two, they sure do like to run away a lot.

Great pics Michael. I'm sure they will do you well this season. I will be moving out there to Oceanside in March or April. If I get some yellow babies, I'll deliver one to you myself.

Good stuff man! If you don't mind me asking, why are you moving out this way?

Military orders. I'm coming out there to be a combat instuctor in the Marine Corps. Was going to be Drill Instructor, but they said I have too many tattoos on my arms! Kinda BS if you ask me. Oh well, at least I'm coming to Cali for some nice weather. Sure beats the weather here in NC.

That is good stuff Josh, it will be a big change weather wise. We get a lot of sun, beautiful waves, raging fires, and a little earth shaking, never a dull moment here.
