Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Nett,
I breed Eastern Indigos and specialize in them.
I have had the same egg binding occur with one of my smaller females about 3 yrs ago.
Dont take this the wrong way, but she may not have required surgical intervention at all. There is a drug called Oxytocin, which causes uterin contractions. When my female got egg bound we removed a lot of the yolk(aspirated) from the side body cavity and adminsitered oxytocin over a 3 day period. She passed all the eggs out, albeight they were all much smaller from the removal of the yolk through a needle inserted mid body. Both I and Rick from Renegade Reptiles aspirated the eggs. The vet did also, but was only willing to aspirate two of them, as if that would make it easier for the female to push the eggs out by the front two neing smaller. We did them all, admisiterd the oxytocin and she pushed them out in 2-3 days. That same female reproduced THIS year and produced healthy and viable eggs. Next time, possibly explore other alternatives before surgical intervention. I foyu id,then please accept my humble apologies. Sorry to hear about this. How old and large was your female?
Sincerely,
Fred Albury

Yes we did try oxy. as well as aspirated 2 eggs but I belive the problem occured because of the 2 eggs that were fused together and one was almost twisted inside her.Surgery was the only way to go in this, if i wanted her alive .I have had alot of egg binding problems during the past 10 yrs on all sorts of different breeds and most times u can just drain the eggs but every now and then u have to go to surgery Would love to pick ur brain sometime about breeding these beauties
