    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Some classified ad titles are just too good for their own good.
Fortunately the person who wrote this ad locked it, otherwise Rich or one of the mods would hafta be smackin me down for my smart butt answers....:D

While checking the classifieds, I occasionally see some stuff that makes me laugh. I saved a few posts for an occasion such as this :dgrin:

He/she meant to type "buy," but it didn't turn out that way. Had this person added another "t" it would have made my day (hey...it gets lonely in the classifieds...so after a while I get easily entertained)

I don't know...I found it funny that someone was inquiring about a snack within Fauna's classifieds (even if it was a legit question).

On a serious note, for just a moment:

How one feels is up to oneself. Naturally, there are some circumstances that might lend themselves to feeling one way or the other, but in general, one makes one's own world.

Part of what I do involves visiting families in their homes. I sometimes see families that are extremely poor and don't have much in the way of physical comforts and luxuries, yet they are clearly happy, and have a strong bond with the other family members.

Conversely, I see some wealthy clients that are miserable and the family members barely look at one another. Of course there are both happy and miserable people in each group mentioned, but my point is that it is not life's circumstances that give us joy. Life is what you choose to make of it.
