You know I been busy preparing to move and actually moving into my new store. I didn't get a truck until Wed and it took Jay and myself till Friday to get everything out of the old store. I been busting my ass and can probably have a another heart attack at any moment because I feel breathless with uncomfortable feelings in my chest. I'm putting going to the hospital aside because my animals come before me.
I have given this much thought and if you want to break the contract you made with me then you should return my 4 females so i can start breeding them with my own males. If the females produce babies from your male lesser than we will still do our 50/50 split as agreed Lessors and same goes for the breeding the Pied to my het females...fair is fair.
Another choice which is fair is you can bring your Spider het. Pied here and I will put her with the Pied and return her to you at your will. Give this thought and I will be in touch soon... I will have my phone re-connected tomorrow and I will ring you when I'm not so busy or you can write me back and I will reply when I have the time.

April 14th you e-mailed me a picture of one of my four females I left on breeding loan with you ovulating and she didn't lay eggs yet something doesn't seem right.
The past week or so you stated that 2-3 females have started feeding again and also that Phil palpated these females and they are showing no signs of being gravid. You want your Pied back then bring me my four females back this week. If any of the females I bred the Pied to produce or should the females you return to me produce Lessers we will split them up 50/50 as per our breeding contract.

I am quite concerned with these emails you have been sending that are not friendly in nature and contain statements of doubt. You are stating that "something doesn't seem right" with your females on loan not having eggs yet. with that being said, you and I entered in an agreement in the fall of 2006 with my male, and there too are no eggs from any of the females you have bred him with, so what point are you trying to make indirectly but directly in your statement to me? You have become quite distant, not taking my calls nor returning them as soon as I indicated that I want to pick up my male to breed him to another female that I am purchasing, then making the statement in your previous email to bring her up to breed him with her. why would I need to do that when when male is mine. then you react by demanding your females to be returned this week at the time of my picking up my male. How is this good business Steve, when I have only had your females for a few months. I have given what I felt to be a more than enough time for you to breed my male. Obviously, you don't feel that you should extend the same courtesy with your females on loan to me, we are suppose to be friends here and you of all people should understand that if my male has not made any of your females gravid by now you should understand why I want to breed him to another female.
Yes, I agree that all of our correspondence about our agreement should be in writing and that our agreement is still binding of 50/50 for any production of eggs on either side.

At the moment my last clutch of eggs in the incubator are hatching right now and will be empty until more eggs are laid.

first of all I am not a shady person and find this statement as well as the other statements and comments made quite disturbing. I did not think that it was necessary to let u know that I was going away with my family. as per my conversation with you on the 30th I told you that I was in Myrtle beach, not Maryland and that I would be home between Wednesday and Friday. well, to our surprise upon our return home, one of your females laid 6 eggs (see attachment of eggs and female) apparently, they were laid sometime Friday afternoon because my step son had checked and watered all snakes in the a.m. and there were not eggs at that time. I text you immediately for you to call, tried to call and you refused despite my saying good news!.
I think at this point, your suggestion that your females be returned and my pied be returned is one that my wife and I are in agreement with. I will send you weekly pics of eggs and all will be split 50/50 as agreed if any of your females lay eggs after being returned you will notify me in writing and send pics, as well as any females that may produce eggs that were bred with my pied. My wife and I have had a long serious talk about this and we both feel that you are making every indication that you are trying to keep the pied especially by this email sent. How do you feel that my male is of equal value of your four female even with the 6 eggs I came home to earlier this morning, much to our surprise, she didn't even look pregnant. Your intentions are what you have made it to be. I am truly sorry that it had to come to this but, I think at this point it is the only way to handle this difficult breeding arrangement. I have responded to your emails sent, and as far as Phil palpating, he only palpated 2 females, the one that has not been eating (you are aware of this) whom had small follicles and the other nothing could be felt in which Phil stated that the follicles could be reabsorbed, this female mentioned has been eating small meals, this was told to you via a telephone conversation that we had. According to other breeders snakes that are on breeding loans usually run from October to March - 6 months - not 10. I am sure you are well aware of this as you have been in the biz for a while.
With all this being said already or noted by our emails, I would prefer to go with the option of exchange: your 4 females to you and my male pied to me, with the breeding contract in effect if there are dropping of eggs. You are well aware that one of your females have droped 6 eggs on or about July 6 in the pm., therefore you are entitled per our agreement to 50% of the babies. There will be weekly pics sent to you for your and my records and I would expect the same from you if there are any eggs dropped by any of the females .
Please, lets make the arrangements for this exchange so that we can finalize all of this nonsense that has come about. I certainly hope that we can do this in a professional/ friendly manner without further delay. I am willing to make the trip due to your health and your not having transportation. Please respond.
