    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have 3 eggs out of my most recent clutch that havent hatched or even begun to sweat. no discoloration, they are huge, and all of my other beardies have hatched. its been at least a week since the rest have hatched any ideas? i have had this happen before and i split the egg to pull the dragon out thinking it didnt make it and it was just a slow grower. now i have a runt that may not make it. i have to keep him seperate from the rest. any suggestions would help

If you post this in the beardie discussion forum you may get some replies...that is where questions are entertained. BTW,sometimes they will take a longer time to hatch,and sometimes they end up not making it. Definitely leave them be...cutting them will almost surely kill them.

i have been breading for a little while now and have had this problem before and am trying to see what the average length i should wait. i have 3 eggs from my most recent clutch that still have yet to hatch i have had some in the past take all at the same time to a little over a week until all beardie eggs have hatched i want to know what everybody else has experienced i am just being your typical concerned beardie parent thanks
ps - no discoloration in the eggs no sweat and they are really big for eggs

I always leave them in until the egg starts decaying then I remove. Sometimes it takes 90-120 days for them to hatch, and other times the clutch will hatch at 60-70 days like their suspose to. But if you have the space leave them useless they show signs of decaying... I'm not a pro but that is what I do and it works for me.. For an exp. I have an egg hatching right now and his/her siblings hatched 11 days ago...

Then let them be. I made a horrible mistake and cut mine open and killed 3 perfectly formed babies because I was impatient, so I am speaking from experience. If they are meant to be then they will come out all by themselves.

thats what i am doing jsut wondering as to what is too long ive been impatient before and the dealings of a runt it sux

Killing them is so much worse. I have 2 runts and they bring me joy everyday because I am amazed that they are doing wonderful. Everyday is a miracle with them just to watch them grow. My runts were impatient to come out, but they must have been strong willed because I didnt cut them open and they were maybe 1.5" from tip of nose to tip of tail when they hatched. Now they are 5" from tip of nose to tip of tail and rotten as could be.

unlike the snake world, in the bearded dragon world you leave them to hatch on their own. If they do not hatch they were not meant to make it. It is survival of the fittest in a since only because if they were not strong enough to enter the world think of what kind of life they would have. More than likely severe health and growth issues due to what ever malformation caused them to not hatch.

Leave the eggs alone and if they start turning brown/yellow, growing mold, or smelling, then freeze them and toss them out.

*I merged the two threads because there were a couple of responses in the one posted in the classifieds - it makes for a somewhat disjointed start, due to the posting times, but I didn't want to lose people's entries.

go figure after i throw up a post they hatched! last night the last few did! my clutch prior had a discolored egg and that one turned out to be my runt. hes soo small and i dont think hes going to make it its depth perception is soo far off that he cant grab his food and when the baby drinks water, it basically drowns itself. if you guys no anybody looking for babies i have a whole bunch. the first clutch is fire tiger cross pastel and the second cluth is mystic red cross hypo citrus tiger and i have one clutch about to hatch :) if you guys have any questions on them just email me at [email protected]
