    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Josh Sharp - [email protected] - Terrible Cage - One to Avoid

Why do you have to sell something first? Don't you have a job? How are you buying supplies for the racks you are building?

Inquiring minds would like to know (if I missed the rationale for not paying your debts, forgive me).
 
Josh, I don't know you and have never done business with you, nor do I understand how you would expect me (or anyone) to do so when you are NOT taking care of bad business practices. This thread was started how long ago?? And you've done what to take care of it? Why would I believe you'd take any pride in what you send me??

Steve Jordanides is well-known enough that people are going to listen to him and smart people will take heed his warning. You messed up by not taking care of this disgruntled customer...point blank!

I build custom furniture/cabinets and would never think of telling a customer that they paid less than if they had gone through "ABC Company" and that I'm not going to spend "extra time" sanding off rough corners! WTF?? Take pride in your work and make sure it's perfect before you send it out, or don't plan on sending anything else out. If you can't take care of Steve for a measly $175 after 3 years, give it up! (Although I'm sure that the $175 is NOT measly in Steve's, nor any other customer's, eyes!)
 
Josh - the time for you to have made this right with Steve was 2.5 yrs ago. (Even if you had made, and followed through with, an insulting offer of repaying him $6/per month (starting Jan 08), you would have been finished paying him by now). To me, that means that the simple fact of the matter is you had no interest in refunding him. If you were going to replace the cage, your own words indicate that you've produced problem free cages since that time - why didn't he receive one of those?
You came up with your own design?....and your original just happened to be so similar to the comparably sized Vision that pretty much everybody called it a Vision knock-off? I suppose it isn't impossible :shootfoot

I know when I directed you to this thread I said I had a proposition for you. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, I changed my mind - what I was going to suggest is that I would pay for the shipping of Steve's cage to me, and I would get it to him after I thoroughly inspected it. (Simply because I am in the market for some new caging, and figured I would take a look. You would have been expected to reimburse me for the shipping within a reasonable, and predetermined, time frame.) Since the reality is that I have no interest in your cages, I find it relatively implausible that you can be in a situation that you can't ship a single cage (and could not have done so in the time that has passed)...and, IF that is true, you wouldn't be able to repay me within a reasonable time period; I decided to just stay out of it.

Are you even making that size cage now? The current ad is for a larger size.
 
I have a feeling this only came to light again because he posted an ad on this site for his cages. This appears to be the same old Josh that gave me the run around years ago. I seriously doubt I will ever be compensated or any of the others he still owes money to will ever be compensated.
Having to wait for him to sell some cages is just another stall tactic IMO.
At this point, I don't feel he is ever going to make this right with me or anyone else.

A nice thought but I think you would have ended up being out the shipping money and never see a cage.

How can you be even starting to make cages for sale with out any money at all?I think if you sent everybody a refund and started making good cages you could make a go of it.:yesnod:

You know steve I contacted you before i posted my cage, remember. I told you that i was gonna send you a cage when i got going again, and thats what i intend to do. I contacted you saying check out my new cage and you said good luck this looks much better it still doesn't make it right with mine. Then i offer to send this new cage after i sell a handfull, I work fulltime and try to do this on the side so i can do this fulltime, and you said that if i did that you would tell everyone that this is MUCH better quality. If you want I can pull up the email and quote it for you. I'm gonna see if i can borrow some more money and get that shipped out next week and you let everyone know when you get it. send your address to my email. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

spyder79 I like how you send me a positive trader rating, ask to be my friend and recommending me to people, knowing about this thread, because you mentioned it before you bought my horrible cages, and you revoke your positive feedback so people don't see that your the one who gave it to me. Whatever is good for business, i guess.
 
Actually I pulled the positive trader rating because as of right now it is not something you deserve as you are not doing everything you can to make your past bad dealings right. Had I known who you were prior to ordering the tanks I would not have ordered them. With that said yes the tanks are great and work fine for me. Once you are able to resolve all the bad dealings that are following you around I will be happy to leave a positive trader ratiing.

Again what ever is good for business, You brought up this thread before you bought them. And i told you that I sent spj the first one, yes it was crap. BUT don't tell everyone that you didn't know it was me, "Had I known who you were prior to ordering the tanks I would not have ordered them." is a lie.

oh and another thing, pulled from your very own thread that you started that you wrote "thats cool. i just wanted to point out that he does business the right way now. I did not tell him i had read the information from this site. I never let him know i knew anything of his old dealings. But he still came through and the cages are perfect." but you did mention it to me though.
 
That is not true because I purchased your tanks on Kingsnake and Had no clue about this thread until I had already sent you money.

also if you look through this thread you will see my first posts on this thread have been in this month.

Why are you making yourself look worse with what is possibly your only satisfied customer on this forum.

For some reason having yet again to defend my statements. In my opinion had I brought up the bad dealings you had on fauna that i found out about after sending you money I was afraid that it would shut the lines of communication off and I would end up screwed like so many others.

Are you done being an idiot yet?

But you just said that you would have never bought them from me if you knew who i was, and I guess it really doesn't matter you got your cages for a damn good price and are still holding up I assume? Are you still pleased with them? Are they worth what you paid? I guess im the idiot
