In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have never heard of a wobble in the Woma gene. Therefore, I would not think to ask if an animal that was NOT a Spider BP had a wobble.

If someone sells a Woma with a Wobble and does not reveal this fact before hand, is this misrepresentation? Or should I just suck it up and chalk it up to experience?:shrug01:

If Womas do not ordinarily have wobbles (I don't know this)
AND
If seller in fact KNEW of the wobble prior to the sale
AND
If seller did not disclose said wobble

Then YES, it is misrepresentation.

He should refund, pay shipping back, and may be a little something for your aggravation.
And while everything is fresh in your mind, fill out one of these

Many breeders are getting out of Spiders and using the Womas BECAUSE of the "wobble" issue. The Womas are supposed to have the patterning of the Spider without the wobble. I am not aware of a wobble in Womas so am hoping someone knows more about it.

You could ask on the forums. Or maybe ask a breeder friend if he knows a bigshot Woma breeder, then go email the breeder.
A couple times I have just randomly emailed folks who I thought were experts on some question and they have always been nice and helpful.

I'm not an expert on Womas, but I don't recall them having the head wobble. I thought it was spiders, and spider morph combos that had the wobble.

Womas don't wobble. If one is wobbling, it has an inner ear or neurological problem, like any other BP.

The seller knew, and says I should have asked.

I just want to know if the wobble in Womas is so common that I should have researched first.

Common or not the seller should have disclosed this. The seller lied by omitting the fact. What's next, are we expected to ask if it has mites, a URI, a kink, missing an eye or even blind? People are looking to purchase healthy animals, not defective animals and to state you should have asked is a load of crap.

So did I, which is why I did not ask.

I also believe that if this manifestation is because of some neuro issue, it should have been addressed before selling or culled.:(

I've heard of Womas having a wobble.

And yes, it is misrepresentation. Sorry this has happend Deb. Id be looking for a refund.

I asked a breeder before asking here and showed the vid. His response was "The snake should have been able to crawl up your arm with ease."

From the vid you posted, it seems their are 3 possibilities. Your not gunna like any of em :(

1. Neuro issue.
2.wobble
And the last is rather hard to spit out because I don't want to accuse anyone of this but, IBD. It has the "stargazer look" goin on.

You aren't saying anything that hasn't crossed MY mind. This animal has been in quarantine in a shed since I opened the box outside (it's warm anyway) and noticed the behavior.

I told the seller I would observe it for a week, I didn't want to jump any guns....but I have been washing like mad including the hair. Which is one of the reasons why I look a mess in the vid.

I would ship it back and ask for a refund. Seriously.

A) If it's a neurological defect, it was misrepresented, and you don't want it.
B) If it's IBD, the snake is contagious and is going to die, and you don't want it.

Either way, you don't want it, it has a problem you weren't informed of--send it back, get a refund.

It's not a spider.

I would give the seller the opportunity to give a refund before I made a BOI post. It could be a woma. And definitly keep that animal way from the rest of your stuff. I think there is something wrong with it. Good luck.

I have heard of some spiders and spider combos having wobble issues but not the woma.
I would be ticked if that was not disclosed.

Man....Do you now have to ask if EVERY BP you buy has a wobble just in case?

Some people like to waste time. I ask once. Her response wasn't very cooperative and in fact seemed quite smart alecky. I am not interested in a refund. I want to make sure she can't do this again.

The only woma I have seen in person had a slight wobble. I didn't know if it was normal or if it was sick either. Needless to say I didn't buy it. But either way Deb you shouldn't have to ask if it wobbles or not. It should be disclosed. The first spider I bought is a pretty bad wobbler (not as bad as your guy) and I had no idea what was going on. I was terrified she was going to die for months. Even after I was told of the wobble (after purchase and when I expressed concern).

I just got done watching the video. I would send the animal back and ask for a refund. If she doesn't give you one then file a claim with your credit card company. But do it quick before that poor animal dies or you run out of time with the card company.
