I tried to purchase

I tried to purchase the (2) smokin hot pastel females he posted yesterday, I told him I wanted them and then asked if he wanted trades or cash or both. He replied within 2 mins/ and said he would consider trades and to shoot over a list of what I had which included: Lessers, Butters, Bees, Spiders ect... He never got back to me. I sent him another message, Never got back. I told him I would pay cash if that is what he really wanted. Still, never got back to me. Then he sends me a PM last night stating that the snakes are really not sold he was just tired of getting PM's so he changed the add and marked them as sold. He said I was third in line out of a list of (53) that responded about them?(Like the title says: I Tried) I do not think I will give this seller a second chance on taking my money, there are a bunch of really nice, honest and dependable breeders out there.

This bolded bit is a lie if that is what he said. Those snakes were first held for David Reid, who passed on them after getting more details. Then they were offered to me, and I passed on them after getting more details. It wasn't until I mentioned that I had heard there was something physically wrong with the animals that the truth came out. One's got several kinks in his tail, and the other has a stub tail. In an email, he says that maybe they will grow out of the kinks. Really.

With that, plus the "confusion" in the add about the axanthic pin, I'm really doubting this gentleman's integrity and will NOT be purchasing from him anytime soon nor will I recommend him to anyone else.

Kinks and unknown genetics are something you mention in your ads, not something you hide while waiting for someone to ask that right question before you tell.

Wow...those kinks and stub look terrible! Good thing I waited on hearing more on this inquiry before purchasing anything from him.

Bernard, this is an Inquiry...he hasn't been labeled a Bad Guy. Go ahead and notify him but I don't see how he could turn anything around seeming as nobody here has been hurt by the situation...yet.

Based on his apparent inability to label his animals correctly (per Shadera's post) I would not buy from him.

Not quite sure why he would have bought such a nice morph without first knowing the true genetics himself.

Those were some pretty neat looking pastels either way though. Would make some really neat pets if their prices would actually reflect their flaws.

Hi everyone. Ok I will try to clear a few things up. I have done a sale to one fella on this board as of now and it was a mystic. You can look on my vistor messages he left a comment about her. And magickal please clarify things before you speak on them.... Yes the 2 pastels were on hold for Dan until I went to verifty sex on last time and noticed the "kink" then I personally told him before he sent fund about the kink and sent him pics of the tail! I was being honest as I could have easily sent the snake to him. I was overwhelmed with PM's about the pastels and I did put them as sold cuz I assumed out of the 50+ people one would buy them! As far as the IMG pin I have stated to everyone that PMed me about what I knew about it and how I obtained it. I just sold a HIGH HIGH white pied which will ship off next week and I sold all my pastels even the one with the kink, And yes I also sent him detailed pics of the animals tail and he is fine with it. Also in the process of selling my emperor pin so you will hear feedback from him to. Any other questions please ask. I have tried to explain as best I can. Im sorry if some of you on here are upset because I did not sell you the snake, but I was going on who PMed me first and I have been upfront and honest with everyone! So I dont see how you (magickal) get off saying someone has to ask the right questions to me.... Ask dave I clearly made it a point to tell him about the "kink" myself!!!!!

Oh and also about the "IMG Pin" never once in any of my adds did I say "this is an IMG pin" I said it was bought as a Axanthic pin and was told that it looked like and IMG!

I didn't say, nor hint, at why David turned those animals down. I merely said he passed on them. You're talking about how you were up front with him, and that's great that you don't look at your snakes enough to noticed they're kinked up like garden hoses but admit it to one person. But here's your PM to me after he said he wouldn't have those in his collection:

Looking at the pictures in the ads, they look perfect and there's no mention of any defects. But someone tells me there's something wrong with them. Could you elaborate on that, please?

You asked me via email how you should handle things, and I told you. (Never heard back from you after I said most breeders probably would have culled them..) You didn't, and are still engaging in questionable behavior. So you better believe I'm gonna share every last little bit I have to keep others from making a potential mistake.

So yes, things are perfectly clear for anyone to see. And yes, I DID have to ask the right question before you said the animals were physically flawed. A potential buyer shouldn't have to ask for that information, but somehow you don't seem to understand that.

I wish your current customers nothing but the best. But for several of us, you haven't made quite as favorable an impression.

Thank you for coming here and clearing things up. I hope you have learned that these things can NOT be left out of your advertisements. It only causes confusion and suspicion. I know that you are new-ish to the site and trying to build a good reputation. I wish you luck on all of your transactions and I hope you don't arise any more suspicion or even worse...a Bad Guy thread.

Thats fine I am sorry you feel that way! Sorry after 1 PM stating one is still for sale that you didnt give me the chance or time to elaborate on why! I dont see how you can say I cropped my pics to not show the kink, I mean who do you think took the pics of the kinked tail??? Why on earth would I take those pics of the tails like that if I were trying to get over on somebody? Anyways the animals are sold people are happy and I'm sorry that a few, that havent even been hurt by the situation, are upset.
