    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not that I agree with Guy or Erik in anyway but I do believe they are in fact different people. Guy would have had to create this alter ego Erik a long time ago in order for Erik to have his own website design business. Guy would then need to keep both alter egos separate all for the sake that one day down the line he may need to defend himself as another individual. It just doesn't seem that likely.

That all being said, stealing intellectual property ie pictures is wrong. Period. Claiming to purchase an animal for your own collection when its clearly stated that flipping is not allowed is more or less not illegal but immoral. Regardless of how well they defend themselves I will not being giving either alter ego anu business and it doesnt appear that anyone reading this thread will either.

Just my thoughts.

Erik, what shutter speed is needed to catch a crested gecko in mid flight? I'm curious so I can setup the DSLR.

Hypothetically-if they were roomies and shared the same wi-fi/or broad-band router, couldn't it show up as the same IP??

i have no idea... guy takes all his own photos as far as i know. i'm not very good at photog.

It could and would. But if they were "roomies" then why wouldn't Eric just say so? Why pretend to live someplace else?

I also think they are truly two different people, for the reasons listed above by William. But I also think Eric is probably visiting AT Guy's home right now and only showed up here because Guy told him to. To admit that he's actually at Guy's house right now would be too revealing....so instead, he spins a whack story about how IP's work, trying to convince us that two men living an hour apart would somehow miraculously show the exact same IP. :rolleyes:
 
oh and FYI, i am a recovering agoraphobic, takes quite to a bit to get to guy's house, i've never even been there.

i do not condone taking photographs without permission to be posted on a different website for profit.

as for what happened earlier with the photo of the leachie in question, i do not see a huge issue with that.

Ah...that would explain the IP match with a very old account belonging to someone else.

Seriously...as amusing as it is to watch someone spin a clumsy web of lies....do you actually believe ANYone is falling for it? Maybe your mother believed all your lies so you feel like some criminal mastermind....but I gurantee you, it ain't workin'.

Given that the only posts the Erik account has made are to this thread, one could assume that either A: Erik is a long-time alias of Guy or more likely B: Guy knows Erik's password and is logged in as him.
