damon cant stay out for long. he just needs to rebuild his collection after all of his large breeders were seized.

I dont imagine that he will make that mistake again. he will likely show up in a state/area where it is legal to keep gators and giant constrictors. We just need to watch online forums for some newby pretending to be a colossus in the hobby.

Seems like short of actually getting our hands on absolute proof of his other aliases and dropping it in their laps while they actually have him in their grasp he's just going to be able to keep walking away and starting all over again.

I do believe that it was stated that the LA authorities are fully aware that he is in fact Damon Heynen but they aren't doing anything about it cause the AZ authorities don't want to be bothered with having him extradited to them on the warrants they have him for. Just another felon being allowed to slip through the cracks of justice.

Animal hording /addiction covers all species of animals not just reptiles. It won't take him long before he gets his collection back up and running I'm sure.

Yes he was convicted of murder. He shot someone I believe it was. He also had multiple DUI, weapons and drug related charges he was convicted of. This is not someone that should be free.

He'll change his name and just rack up even more charges when he flees the state on warrants.

Just thought I would let everyone know David Beauchemin did not show up for arraingment this morning and has officially jumped bond. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Is this saying he packed up and left or is this just saying he did not show up?

Someone responded last week saying they are dealing with some family issues and I could expect the snake to be shipped this week. If his animals where taken, who was those, how do we reach them? I sent a deposit for $200 via postal money order. I guess I at least need to do something with that. Anyone know how to reach the authorites that have his animals?

Where did you send the payment? Was it to their Louisiana address, or do you have a more recent one?

Don't know, but I can tell you right now that you won't see an animal or your money. Every snake that they had that was over 12ft. was taken. And it won't do you any good to contact the people who may have them as they probally won't give the snake to you even though you put a deposit down on it

How did you come about sending a check for this animal? Where did you see them posting sales ads? And where did you send the check to? Who was it made out to?

Angel is right that whoever seized the animals will NOT turn one over to you just because you sent someone a check for a 16' snake. However, it's possible (not probable, given the circumstances, but possible) that whoever you sent the check to will send you SOMEthing that is under the 12' mark. Any "het" genetics would be questionable.

Gino, I don't get an the oppurtunity to read much about other people, nor did I hear of or read about HEH. There's where I messed up. I should have searched the forum, but I have not been on here near as much lately. Here's what I can tell anyone reading this. FIRST, I now know he is in jail. Second, someone is reading his emails for him. Third the check went to Tawni Beauchemin at 1568 Ward Rd, Oakdale, LA 71463. Fourth, I will be contacting the sherriff's department that his holding, I believe both, and press charges against Tawni. Since she would be the one cashing checks. I did send it postal money. I know it's gone but I'll do wihat I can in that regard. Last, he/she/someone reached be via email. They must have taken it from one of my post. MOST important to me now, is finding a female tiger (either het albino or albino) so I don't have my male go to waste and I lose what I was trying for. REALLY disappointing that no female is coming, more than the money.

Maybe this will be the icing on the cake in getting Tawni put away for awhile along with her other half... then the state can seize the rest of the poor animals and they will be in better hands as well. I feel for the animals in their care... it's really sad to see people treating animals this way I hope that you can get your money back but most important I hope you get the female you need Good Luck!

That's really good that you will be reporting the issue to the local PD. If they see that either of them are continuing to do the same exact illegal things that they are already awaiting trail for, it will hopefully be enough to land them in jail without bail and the rest of those poor animals can be seized and out of their hands for good.

I mean I would think that being charged with committing a crime while you are already awaiting trial for the same crime would hold a stiffer penalty. But then again, they have been letting people out of jail for even worse crimes due to over crowding all over this country for years.

OBERLIN -- Arraignment for an Allen Parish couple charged with defying a state snake permit law and mistreating animals has been set.


District Attorney Todd Nesom tells The Lake Charles American Press that 44-year-old David Beauchemin and his 23-year-old wife, Tawni, will be arraigned on Sept. 2.

The Beauchemins are charged with 21 counts of simple cruelty to animals and one count of possession of snakes longer than 12 feet without a required state permit.

They also face charges of violating interstate commerce by selling snakes that were not legal to possess; theft of less than $300 by fraud; telephone harassment; and cyberstalking.

The Beauchemins were arrested in March after authorities received a complaint that they were illegally selling animals on the Internet.

I was keeping an occasional eye on a possible angle from another BOI thread that sorta indirectly related to HEH for a while now and figure now is probably as good a time as any to post it.

I think we may have a winner. I just can't decide if this is an actual person who is fronting for HEH/Damon/David or if this is simply "the new identity". I am currently leaning towards fronting since they "moved" from GA to LA... maybe to take over things for a while till David gets his new digs set up somewhere else?

I know this is a gun forum, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves guns and snakes. Sadly I am no longer able to keep up with my animals and I am forced to sell off the remainder of my breeding colony. I tried to keep my best animals with the most potential for profit but the upkeep is just too much for me now and I have to move them.

So a Danny from Captive Bred Constrictors was mentioned as being recommended by HEH. Doing searches on Captive Bred Contrictors brought up the following....

This free website does have a "danny woosley" listed. Considering their email was captivebredconstrictors.com I did a domain search and yes.. a Danny Woosley (in california) registered the captivebredcontrictors.com domain even if he is not using it directly for his website. Said person has several ads posted on Fauna but lists Texas as the location... but considering the dates of the domain registration and the dates of the most recent fauna ads its possible he moved from CA to TX at some point. Quite possible this person has nothing to do with HEH..or maybe he does. Can't tell yet.

However, on some of the results for Captive Bred Constrictors a familiar name came up - "James". While running the domain search on the captivebredconstrictors.com, I noticed that the .net version of the domain wasn't available so I did a search there too....

Posted an ad and then got banned from the site.

Maybe HEH sold his LA property and animals to Jim/James or maybe not. Maybe HEH is headed to GA in exchange for Jim coming to LA? Maybe Damon/David and Jim/James are two different people, maybe not. Quite possible that Danny of Captive Bred Constrictors is not involved and Jim/James of Investment Level Constrictors is attempting theft of danny's CBC name? Or maybe danny sold the name to Jim/James? Maybe it's not identity theft and just a ruse so HEH can head to texas and "become Danny"? Seems odd that Danny's ads on Fauna more or less ceased to occur soon before Jim/James registered the ILC domain... and then captivebredconstrictors.net domain. Wasn't there a rumor of HEH possibly heading to Texas?

But, that's all I have so far. Still too many questions to do more than state for certain that Jim/James IS somehow involved with Damon/David & Tawni considering he now lives next door to them and is using Tawni's phone number.

If anyone else wants to try to dig further... go for it.
