    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First off, the money didn't clear MY account until 9/7... I wasn't posting due to the fact that I was away for the weekend & wanted to wait until the money was ACTUALLY in my account.I have to feed the beasts & check in on my Mom, but I will be back later to answer any questions & post up whatever is necessary... Here's a bit of quick info (I know,I'll post up the pms & emails)

Michael-- How come the refund was issued to me AFTER you posted her for sale on kingsnake? & if I hadn't forwarded to you what another member sent me through pm (about paypal refunds), I would have had to wait even longer for you to send me the payment,which in turn would have taken longer to clear in my account.When I took you up on your offer of a refund,you tried your best to do anything to get out of refunding. You asked for my phone #,I refused as I didn't see the need for a conversationsince you had offered a refund that very morning.You then became rude when I declined to speak to you on the phone & told me that if I couldn't talk to you on the phone then I shouldn't contact you thru email!! That it was your birthday weekend & you were going out & you couldn't refund me my money,that you had moved it. IF YOU OFFERED THE REFUND THAT MORNING WHY WOULD YOU MOVE THE FUNDS?? IF YOU HADN'T EVEN SHIPPED HER OUT YET,HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK OF MOVING THE MONEY???

Why is there a defect in the animal? Are you backing out of a verbal agreement? If there is a defect then you will be refunded but I don't know any breeder that would refund money because the buyer changed his mind after reading a thread. That is your responsibility to know who you are sending funds to. I have been nothing but.honest to you about the pied so I don't see how there is a discrepancy over her. I've spent way to much time sending you pics and everything you asked for you to just back out cuz you changed your mind.

We all know darn well he spent that money. Transferring it out of your paypal account to anywhere else should not be happening until your customer at least has the animal in hand.

And charging Paypal fees? I'd be sending that message on over to Paypal since he's violating their user agreement.

I'm thrilled you at least did get your money back! I bet that's a big weight off your chest!

Keeping money in one's paypal account in case a refund is needed is all well and good; however, if you are also making purchases, it can be a double edged sword.
If I money in my account for a sale or two, and I want to make a purchase, PayPal will automatically draw payment from my PayPal account. That not only takes my customers' money out of play, it prevents me from using my credit card for the protection that method offers. There ARE legitimate reasons to pull the money out of a PayPal account, even if the animal hasn't been shipped yet.

Spending the money is a different story, and a poor game plan.

I agree. I do tend to move the money out so I can use my Paypal for other perchases, but a refund is attached directly to my account, so there is no need for me to "move the money back."

I had to the first time I made a refund, because I didn't know how. I have since made another refund and the person was nice enough to show me how.:)
 
I love how people are sooo nice until they get what they want! John you asked for a refund and I gave you one.... Sorry it took 3 days for it to get put back in my paypal then 3 days for it to clear your paypal account. I didn't and still don't know a faster way besides using my credit card but they would have charged it as a cash advance.... I even offered to refund your money and still ship you the snake for you to decide if you wanted her or not and if you didnt I was going to pay shipping cost back... I dont know much more that I could have done! This thread is a clear representation that all you guys want to do is jump on someones case.... you were all ranting and raving "I wounder if john got is money back....." then I posted those screen shots showing the money was refunded and the convo went silent.... then john got on here and said that he got the refund (which is what everyone was worried about) but I was rude now its on again.... You guys are like piranhas! I see why everyone PMed sayin good stuff, because they were scared to write on here and have you guys bash them! As you can see my rep is no longer in the negatives thanks to these nice guys that get where I'm coming from! I thank all who PMed me with the words of encouragement. Once again I will state the fact that nobody was hurt, nobody got a sick aniamal and nobody got there money stolen. If anyone wants to see my FEDEX waiver I have it saved to my computer now and can post it as soon as I edit out my personal info... Fedex dont always give out waivers. The only waiver my reps have given me was legal liability. But your account number is updated to reflect your ability to ship reptiles. I called many reps to be sure and said no paper is required as in a waiver.
