Am I the only one that noticed that Josh never mentioned anything about the quarantine of ANY animals he recieved until after it was mentioned how contagious crypto can be?
You are absolutlely right. I did not mention anything about quarantine until it was brought up. This is because I thought it was pretty much a give that most people quarantine there animals for a period. Now you can believe me or not I know I am telling the truth. Almost everyday it is pointed out to me by my girl friend that is not into snakes tells me she whats all of the snakes in the snake room. But I can not put them in there because they are in quarantine I tell her.

What you yourself have said. I'm sure we all have better things to do then to attack someone who has clearly dug himself a big hole.
You purchased animals from Doc. One died in transit, he replaced it (did you provide him pictures or did he take your word that it died?), and you purchased another one when he shipped the replacement. The snakes were sickly and underweight, but you didn't bother to inform Doc of this or make any complaints.
These other three snakes you've mentioned... do you have feed records for them? Weight records? Anything? And I wouldn't worry about printing anything out... do you know how to take a screen shot?
If you still have any of these snakes in your possession it might be a good idea to take pictures of them and show us. Maybe it won't do any good, but if they're still under weight it might help support your claims.

Yes I did provide Doc of pics of the snake dead in transit. Also as I have already stated when I later asked Doc about the snakes hatch dates he gave me some usless info. He could only provide me with a 5-9 month gap of how old all of them were. I asked him there ages cause of how small they were. I kind of hinted around about this to him when I asked about there hatch dates. He told me they would be fine.
Yes I still have all of there records on my software. But no I do not know how to take a screen pic. Yes 6 of them are still in my possesion. I have already stated how I think the Lavender Motley will be next to go. She should be right about a year old and she is still only 13g. The others are twice her size or more. If you tell me how to take a screen shot I would be happy to post all of the info I can gather.
I think some members have gone a little further than what the BOI really calls for or needs. At most, we could take away that Doc's involvement in the poor condition of these snakes is at most, negligible. No need to keep pressing on Josh's husbandry or care taking skills nor do we need to keep questioning his motives.
Bottom line we need to determine whether or not Doc willingly or unknowingly sold Josh snakes that were in poor condition. I don't think anyone here believes that Doc sent Josh snakes that were in as poor condition as he describes them. Even though Josh dug himself into a whole that he is now trying to crawl out of, it's no reason to continually assault his skills, professionalism, or integrity. We all need to take it Josh's word for what it is, and move on

Thank you for your 2 cents. This is what I have been saying. This is about Doc not me. This thread is now 14 pages long. Doc has commented on it twice. The whole he is right because he is keeping his mouth shut was over many pages ago. He will not come back with anything because he knows he is wrong. Just as I know he is wrong.
As I stated as well just because this is how things work in BOI with all of the insults does not make it right. Thanks for this post.
Josh, I once again strongly recommend you get your stock tested for crypto. Just because you don't see symptoms yet doesn't mean it's not there. Doc would do well to have his tested as well, if only to deflect the no-doubt incoming accusation that his animals carried the illness over. Josh until you do this, I would advise against trying to sell any animals... no one is going to want to risk it until they see a paper from the vet confirming your animals to be clean. And in all honesty... you would probably do excellent if you set your sights on non-living business. Maybe cages or something if you still want to be involved in the reptile industry. But your own admittance on your views on husbandry and vet care would make me leery of any animals going into or leaving your care.
I plan to have my stock tested just as soon as I can. I will be more then happy to post the paper work here to show you people that I am telling the truth. I know what I am doing in this industry. The comment on me having a non-living busines. That is a really big insult to me. That is my life long dream. I will have it. You have no right to say that I should not. When you people were kids and you wanted to be fire men and police men and what not. Well I wanted to be a reptile breeder. I know not everyone gets to live there dreams. Well I will have mine. I also took down all of my ads when I put the last snake down. Not that anyone would of notice that my ads have been down for over a week. I do not and will not sell sick snakes. Though I believe that all of my own stock are fine. Its just the ones from Doc that are still in quarintine that I worry about. As I stated before I never tried to sell them when I thought they were sick. The ad that Doc posted of mine was not his snakes in that ad. Do any of you see a Hypo, Hybino, Lavender Motley, Ultramel Blood and so on in that ad. No I dont think so.
YOU, dont know shiz about shiz, Im afraid. Just cause he sent you a great animal doesnt mean he sent Josh the same. Im not saying that's what happened here, but it wouldnt be the first time that a valid BOI popped up on a reputable name.
Great Post!!! Exactly!!! I have been stating this whole time that because he was giving what he felt was a good deal on some snakes he simply sent me his runt, sickly, under weight snakes. Also you are right "it is not the first time that a valid BOI popped up on a reputable name".
Didnt get to finish. What I mean by that, of course, is that only Josh and Doc know what the deal is, and nobody else really.
As I have also said that Doc knows what he did. Which is why he is so silent.
Yes I may have dug myself a hole. I may never get out of said hole. But I will never give up on getting out of it. You people have helped me get in this whole by twisting my words around on me. Then someone else reads that post and then twist some more stuff. Then I get on and there are another 20 post. So yes I have no choice but to pled my case over and over again. Because I get attacked so much. So many false things are said that I have to defend my passion and my life.
