Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It's obvious there is no true TOS at play here. If the only option to the buyer was a replacement dragon, then that should have been stated plainly and clearly the moment there was communication after the unfortunate death. NOT excuses about spending the money on dragon food ($300.00 on dragon food? Yeah), or when Mike gets paid, or losing a job, or blah blah blah.

The excuses in and of themselves are indicative of a seller who CAN'T refund, not who WON'T refund due to clearly defined Terms of Service.

You, Mike/Lisa accepted a refund from UPS - $300.00 should have IMMEDIATELY been refunded to the buyer. NO excuses. So you've profited $700.00 off a dead dragon and expect sympathy for a non-existent TOS & tough times? (News flash: the freaking nation is in "tough times"!)

Sorry, that's not much different than the common scamming thief. Refund the money.


And Traci - outstanding job in documentation! Love it!
 
Lisa... You stated at one point in time that Traci would be your first priority... well.. apparently you've sold a dragon or two... even if you just do payments you could make it work. You of all people should realize that $200 is a bit of money nowadays so take care of Traci before you spend the money from your next dragon on something else. Get it over and done with that's all Traci's asking for. She's been more the patient and she has the proof that you are the one giving her the runaround!

I just got a dragon from mclisa. The dragon is beautiful and she was packaged and shipped correctly. I would do business with again.

What was your point in posting this? To me, it just shows that you should have money to reimburse the OP:shrug01:.

Yes, I'm sure Josh was very happy, and I couldn't be more happy for him, I'm being honest.

Unbeknownst to Josh, this the transaction where Lisa swindled UPS to guarantee live arrival.

The reason I ask is because at ValleyDragonz it says that you are Lisa Sandoval but under mclisa is states Gonzalez but apparently your the same person because you are responding to Traci so explain please... also.. why two accounts especially when you were active on the other one just a few days ago?

Moderator want to look into these?
 
I wonder if they're now saying their dragons are "SOLD!!" (whether or not they really are) just to try to rub it in your face and say they have money??

To me, it's a repeat of March through....to date. They made money then, they are likely still making it.

It appears it's more important to them to worry about dragon sales as opposed to putting your reputation at risk. That's what they've shown me through the entire ordeal.
 
Quick Question for Jarod since you seem intent on standing up for them. How would you feel if you were in the OPs shoes? What if you payed for the dragon that you bought 6 months ago and then they never met with you?

As far as Lisa now.. You are just making yourself look worse by your excuses and your lack of customer service.

I wonder if there is any possible way to get in contact with UPS and stop shipments from her SYR account? Possibly get in touch with those in charge of SYR and send them a link to this thread? At least until they take care of the debt owed to the OP. Everything is there in Black and White for them to read! I'm sure UPS wouldn't be happy about the fact that the $400 was taken and the OP never received a cent and then Lisa went and used the "Favor" on another sale rather then taking care of Traci.

Catharine, UPS was aware Lisa/Mike never refunded me. Both before and after they sent the check. Two separate security heads knew about it.

Makes you wonder how that happened, yes?
 
Traci had contacted me to ask about my transaction with Lisa. I had told her that my experience was a positive one. Had I known about this, I would have never purchased an animal.

Traci, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I feel terrible that this has happened to you.

As for the tough times you are having Lisa, things are tough for everyone. I understand that your family comes first but what you did was wrong. I am tired of breeders hiding behind vaguely written TOS's. I had a similar incident with another breeder no to long ago. Customer service should come 2nd only to animal care. In this case it doesn't appear that either happened.
 
Very much so... that just doesn't sound right.. that UPS check should have gone to you then in my opinion.. or at least $300 of it and then the rest to Lisa
 
Josh... No need to worry.. noone blames you at all for doing business with them... this all came about after your deal.. You had a good deal... That's wonderful and I hope you are enjoying your dragon.

It's the way people handle the problems that shows their true colors and obviously Lisa has no respect for the industry or her customers!
 
I know I am not in any trouble here but I still feel bad that my transaction with Lisa happened when another paying customer was going through all of this.
 
Josh... You sound like a great guy... You didn't know so you shouldn't feel guilty. The only people who should feel guilty are Lisa, Mike and UPS right now :)
