Even if he did, it doesn't matter. If he did say it, he may have said it prematurely, before all the information was given to him. Brian has every right in the world to change his mind. Again, Brian owes the OP nothing, and never will.

Without any of that information put to light, through either Brian, or David; it's all hear-say on what 'new' information could have arisen. You're right; Brian doesn't need to follow through and it's his right not to. If he doesn't, without showing proof that David had done something wrong, or contorted some type of information... where will that leave Brian, and how will he appear?

Without any more information from either of them, it's just simply your belief and opinion that Brian owes nothing. That simple.

What exactly is it that you know? You don't know anything. I've seen what the OP has said, and none of it matters. It's premature to say the least, as well as he selectively posted portions of emails to suit his needs. That in itself is wrong. The OP is trying to paint a picture that he is a victom, when the proof just isn't there. This thread speaks for itself, it's garbage.

I wish the OP had posted all of the emails between he and Brian, and been a little more forthcoming with information when requested. In the beginning of this thread, it was my opinion that the OP was deliberately withholding what many thought were key issues regarding the verbal and email exchanges between he and Brian

I figured this would be brought up by someone coming to BHB's defense right away.

I know BHB is a huge breeder and lots of people love them and are going to come to Brian's defense.

I knew there were going to be some BHB cheerleaders here but really sheeple give me a break.

This is the reason people don't like Fauna and the BOI. It's this hive mind mentality where despite all the evidence people are still going to side with whoever is 'popular'. I don't really get it and I wasn't looking forward to making the post for just this reason.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Blind defense of BHB despite all of my email evidence and no response here from Brian.

What does it matter what I paid and what amount was agreed to? We agreed to an amount and Brian said he would send me a list to choose from. That never happened. Hence this thread. What mystery are you trying to solve?

And finally David started to realize that it was not him against the multitudes, but everyone wanted to know the entire backstory, not cut and pastes as he saw fit.

After getting away from the computer a few hours I need to apologize for my earlier behavior and posts. I'm sorry for taking the potshots at the mods and site and just being a bit of a jackass really. This is going to be a long post but I want to give a little background.

This is a sore spot for me as I've been dealing with this headache for well over a year now. From start to finish this entire transaction has been nothing but awful. Buying the snake through Chris was just beyond idiotic, Chris and I discussed earlier today that it was probably the worst $250 he's ever saved since his name is involved in this nonsense

I know that cut and pastes are not fair to David B. but he should be able to see how they can slant someones opinions.

As an implicated party I just thought I would add a couple notes to a thread that I think has derailed from it's original intent. I know I haven't posted much in this thread but that's just because I don't think I can add much of value and I'm not going to fight.

1 - Brian did not "change" his mind until this thread was posted. I'm judging by the email Brian sent to David after he was made aware of this thread that where Brian says he was willing to work with him but now that this thread was started Brian is done with this topic now. David didn't post this thread because Brian had told him "No deal", he posted it because it wasn't being responded to in a timely fashion and felt he was being ignored.

2 - There is officially nothing in my power I can do to prove that I didn't switch out the male in question. The only way I can be proven innocent is for the male (which I still believe to be a het) to be proven. Evidence (that I'm sure everyone who doubts me will call circumstantial) that I didn't switch the male is: I've produced a whopping 4 visual ghosts in my brief 5 years of breeding, all from a male ghost obtained from Constrictors. I've never produced a honeybee, I own a female honeybee I received on trade. I've got 3 spider males in my possession, none of them het for ghost.

Chris, I think that your last post speaks volumes, the fact that you yourself have not produced a honey bee and that everyone seems to think David should be compensated for a honey bee is just funny to me at this point. It is odds and genetics, its called gambling...

I think you should go back and read some of your own responces. This thread is, and has gone nowhere for some time now, and by the looks of it, it will continue to go nowhere. So beating a dead horse fits this train wreck of a thread just fine.

In case you havent read any of my earlier posts, thats exactly what Ive been trying to get across. With out Brain coming on here and giving his side, and explaining why he (presumably) changed his mind than none of our opinions matter at all. You cant say 100% that he owes nothing and I cant 100% that he does.

The only point Ive tried to make is that (given what has been posted) it seems like they BOTH agreed that there was a problem and he agreed to fix said problem. Now until he comes on here and says his peace, theres nothing else to talk about

I believe that the post is valid only because Brian should have addressed the issue with David promptly, whether it was to "take a hike" or not, Brian needs to work on getting his priorities in line, and strive for this to never happen again. This should not have had to go this far.
IMO Brian as well as the other "big names" in this industry need to set an example for the rest of us to try and follow. I have great respect for Brian, I have seen him spend hours at shows giving "herp talks" trying to educate people on some of the things he has learned through trial and error over the years. This information is invaluable to a lot of us. He along with Kevin McCurly gave a great talk about breeding ball pythons a few years ago at the Tinley NARBC. One of the subjects that came up was producing ghosts/hypos, so when Kevin posted earlier on this thread about incompatible line, I knew he was speaking from his own experiences.
I do not know if Brian views this thread at all, but I do think he should contact David, and apologize for blowing him off, which IMO is the real issue.

I have nothing to gain from any of this. I am speaking the truth. If the truth hurts, then so be it. Some people are slower than others, so if I keep mentioning the beating of the dead horse, maybe people will let this thread die, like it should. It isn't going anywhere positive, and more then likely, never will. If you can't take the heat, don't play with fire.
