    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

And it would behoove you to wait until you have the truth before you make declarative statments, i.e "Brian owes nothing and never will"

Not sure I have an answer for you there. As I said in a previous post I don't think I should prove him because if I do it here and out pop ghosts or honeybees than those who don't believe me will just say that I've had the het male all along.

If I still had a 2010 female hypo I would donate her and I will donate a 2011 hypo female if I produce one but that's not a fast track to ending this.
 
so, coming up on 40 pages now, what is the ultimate goal that is trying to be met here ?? does the op want a hatchling of what he "should have produced", does he want a new male spider het ghost, does he want brian to come on here and admit he messed up and/or aplogize in public?

this is why i dont buy hets unless i wanna take the gamble that it may not be, and why anytime i do sell het snakes, i sell them as close to normal (or whatevery co-dom they may be) as possible and tell the buyer what the parents are. i know that doesnt work for majority, but it saves me having to come on here and deal with crap like this

Brian owes the OP nothing. The OP didn't prove anything genetically about the animal in question. Also the OP sold the animal in question. Therefore, Brian owes him nothing now, and nothing in the future.

If the current owner proves without a doubt that the animal in question is not a het. Then the current owner would have some ground to stand on. If that were to happen, then Brian should have to do something to correct the situation.

If that animal gets sold ten times, and all ten people breed it, and they don't get whatever it is they are hoping for, is Brian supposed to give all ten of them something? Of course not. The OP forfeited any claims when he sold off the animal without legitimately proving the genetics.

The animal in question has not been proven 100 percent, not to be het for ghost.
 
this thread is crazy, its the same people saying the same stuff over and over trying to convince the others they are right.

from what i see it looks like brian thought he owed the op something and then just forgot about it or decided he would take care of it later, it happens. i think breeding the male to a ghost would have been a better idea before posting this.

why not let the thread just die down and let the op and brian deal with the matter?

Of course but the OP has still to post any actual evidence of anything . just his word and sorry no matter who you are that is not proof here . Why not post all emails in there entirety and it be done? and that goes for brians responses too since i am not sold on either person .

With all due respect there are 100 different reasons given here as to what could have happened (some I think are valid , some I think are ridiculous). At some point there has to be a reasonable expectation of "proof". If everyone who ever had a het that they tried to prove out had to go through all of the things listed here in this thread than there would never be a reasonable way to prove it out.

And, for the 101st (and last time), Brian himself agreed that Dave met his view of reasonable proof or he wouldnt have tried to compensate him for anything.

Honestly after 2 days of trying to make that same point, Im pretty much done with this. Call me when Brain makes a comment.......:bang:

This is the first time I've looked at this thread since I made my last post and I haven't read what's happened since. I don't plan to either. I'm not saying I refuse to respond here or anything, just that I made this post in an effort to put this mess behind me.

Sorry but after reading all the emails, Brian did tell you that he would try to give you something, but I do agree with the fact that you want too much. It is not his fault that you lost your job and had to sell off some of your collection. The fact that you think you should be paid for babies that were not hatched is just ridiculous.

Not taking sides , because really both sides haven't commented fully , but why is it unreasonable to want something he should have produced?

I agree. I do think it's in Brian's best interest to just deal with this and keep his word, but what David is asking for is ridiculous!

In this business, there is no guarantee on fertility, there is no guarantee on genetic probability! There is no guarantee eggs won't go bad!

The most he should get is a '10 Spider Het Ghost male, anything more than that would be the decision of Brian and how generous he wants to be. Personally I would not expect anything at all from Brian if I were David because I was not Brian's customer. For that matter, if and ONLY IF I was Brian's customer and I was sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that the snake in question was not a Het (in this case of course, that is not a sure fact!), I would not expect anything more than a snake of equal genetics of the non het snake.
 
After the May 26 email from David, if I was Brian, I would have told David to take a hike.
He is trying to use threats of damaging Brians reputation and the BOI, WHILE he is doing "damage control" with Cliff assuring him that the snake is a het??
I think that is called extortion?? Did I misunderstand the email?
They were obviously never on the same page...
 
Here's a quick story for you. We bought a pair of Het Albino Honduran Milksnakes from (coincidentally!) Brian Barczyk as babies. We paid $3000 for the pair, raised them up, bred them. Four good eggs the first clutch; 2 albinos and 2 possible hets. The albinos were a pair, which we held back. Fast forward two years... we bred the albino male back to his 100% Het mother. First clutch was 7 eggs, they all hatched, not a single albino in the clutch. The Het female double clutched that year and gave us four more eggs, they all hatched, not a single albino in the clutch. This was not a Het to Het breeding, this was from breeding an Albino male back to his Het Albino mom!

As a sidenote, the Het female did produce some albinos the following year. :)

I can't say how I would respond, but I don't think it would be too far from how Brian did.
 
lol daveyfig, i liked that post. but if you go back and read a few of the first posts, when the snake was bought brian was told it was not for the guy he was sending it to but for the friend of his that brian also knows, brian was ok with that because cliff i believe was getting a shippment from brian so they wanted to add the spider het to the package to save money. so brian knew the snake was going to the op after it was shipped to cliff. atleast thats what i got from it.
