Every little bit helps. Yeah, damn shame that the people helping to finance the well being of this site can bump ads and you can't now isn't it? So you believe that I should NOT offer paying members perks to thank them for their donations? Or not help give them a reason to justify spending the modest amount I ask for such perks?

Actually the bumping of ads DID become an issue, which was plainly visible to anyone who spent even a minute looking through the classified ads sections. It HAS been a minor problem for a while, but I chose to ignore it until it became overwhelming because of overall traffic increasing. So you are suggesting that I should have ignored the complaints simply because YOU are negatively impacted by the changes? How did you get to be more important than the ones complaining about the issue? How did YOU climb to the top of the priority list in how you think I should run this site?
My choice was to handle it in the manner that I did with some custom programming, to try to be as fair as possible about this. Non paying members can post all of the ads they care to, along with images and thumbnails and they can STILL utilize these resources for FREE. And that still is not fair enough for you? The quickest, easiest, and cheapest method of dealing with the problem would have been to just simply shut down all replies to ads completely. That would have certainly done the trick in one fell swoop. Quite likely I would have made replies to ads as yet another perk for paid members, since I think that would have been a fair way of doing this, if I had taken that step. Quite honestly, if issues continue with people creating false accounts and getting their "bump buddies" to come up with bogus questions and comments just to bump the ads, then the above WILL be implemented to end that. That is REMARKABLY easy to fix, so please don't press your luck, to those doing this sort of thing.
I am sorry that some people believe that it is unfair of me to give perks to those people who are contributing members of this site. I guess it IS baffling to some people to grasp the concept that those paying members are helping to pay the bills and putting some money into my pockets to make the headaches of keeping and running this site worthwhile to ME. That it is incredulous that I would want to thank them and give them incentives to continue to remain paying members here.
If anyone has a problem with this, then I guess you either need to have a long talk with yourself to REALLY see why it bothers you so much, or just take your ball and bat and go elsewhere to play. If you want to sell your animals and/or your merchandise, you quite likely are going to go to the place that gives you the most bang for your buck. Well, quite honestly, that is probably RIGHT HERE.
