    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys and gals. I just picked up a few snakes to help a guy out and I think I got more than he think he knew he had. I grabbed a Mojo some norms and these 2 pastels. Here's the thing. The pastels he told me were produced form a fire and pastel pairing The male is crazy but the female is insane. The lightness of their heads is what makes me wonder. Are these pastels or fireflies? 1st 2 pics are the male, next 2 are the girl.

First and second that are the male is a pastel
The female is or atleast looks to be s firefly to me

Thanks guys. Thats what i was leaning towards. I have another pastel male and was going to sell this. After I thought about it I may put him with a girl next year and see if a fire pops out or not before I move him just to make sure. The girl is even crazier in person. The yellow really pops and the blushings... oh my lol. Thanks again guys.

Both look nice, but that female is gorgeous! Congrats on your pick-up!!

Now a fire (single gene animal) has a "head-spot". Does this not stand true when you mix it with another gene? Specifically with pastel?? I'm not seeing one on her. Considering the 2 guys that confirmed that it most likely is a firefly, I'm NOT disputing this. I'm just asking for my own info.

I think it's too hard to tell, at least for me. I've seen normal pastels that look like supers.

Even if it's not, you have a very nice pastel there.

Matt, unfortunately, there is no headspot...However, the best way to tell is in the sheds...as the animal sheds, it should grow lighter and not darken.

Because there are several beautiful Pastels that can pass for Fireflies, I am hestitant to say for certainty what they are this early in the game. But time will revel what they are.:)
