In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Jerry Boyd, JerryBoyd88, in "Woodstock, IL"

So people cant try out new bedding? Hmmmm... Lets see I bought a large bag of it to see how it was, god Im such a bad guy for doing that. By the way I hate the aspen and will be trying out cypress next. Will I catch crap for that also? LOL

Actually if you REALLY pull up all of my ads only the most recent ones are on aspen. Oh why is that? Maybe because as I stated earlier I just bought a large bag of it to try it out. Once again check out the pics. The only ones that have snakes pictured on aspen have been taken in the past month.

You're not comprehending the issue. No one cares what you keep your snakes on. The point that is being made here is that Jerry Boyd's animals were photographed on aspen. You stated this...

Plus if you look at all of my pictures I keep all my snakes on recycled newsprint not that shredded aspen

...as an argument against you and Jerry being one in the same. Yet in all of your ads, even your old ones from August, not a single photograph shows ANY animals on recycled newsprint. None whatsoever. Just tub lids, the hood of your vehicle, and carpet. Yet you have multiple photographs of animals on shredded aspen, animals that you state are YOURS, and on the very substrate you claimed to not use in order to "prove" that you and Jerry are two separate people. So your "proof" using the aspen argument that you are not Jerry Boyd (or that he is not you) is null and void.

Let's recap:

  • You and Jerry share the same IP address... THREE of them to be exact. You claim to use a proxy, which offers hundreds of thousands of infinite IP addresses, yet somehow it is just "coincidence" that you and Jerry Boyd share THREE separate IP addresses? THREE.

Jerry has posted photographs of animals for sale that you also posted for sale, and supposedly sold to someone in an entirely different state. Yet they are the same animal with identical pattern matches. You claim that somehow the animals you sold ended up in his hands? Yet one more "coincidence"?

Jerry supposedly resides in Illinois, but has his payments sent to a Mississippi address. He refuses to accept PayPal and only wants money orders made out to someone else (thus no way to verify his identity), and the address they are sent to has been a vacant house for months on end...which also happens to be only 23 miles from where you live. Oh, right, yet ANOTHER interesting "coincidence"?

Jerry photographs his snakes on aspen, which you stated you do not use, but yet all of your photographs of snakes on substrate show them on aspen. You conveniently claim that you "just bought some to try it out". These "coincidences" are just piling up.

Both individuals share THREE identical IP addresses, both offering the same exact snakes for sale, both using addresses 23 miles from each other in Mississippi, and both showing their snakes on the same substrate with the same type of photograph. I don't know how you could in any way, shape, or form, expect any remotely intelligent person in this hobby to believe that those are all merely "coincidences". The odds of that are absolutely astronomical.

How many scammers do you know that 1 NEVER took anyones money, 2 NEVER had a bad deal or deal go sour, and 3 have a $40,000+ collection? Hell I have over $10,000 worth of ball pythons in ads right now. I also have 20+ people that I have sent ball pythons to in the past 3 months. Want names, emails, and phone numbers of those people? Feel free to pm or email me and Ill give them to you asap! I understand jealousy is a BIG thing in this industry but damn! You can keep this thread going as long as you want, you dont have to buy from me, I DONT CARE, I have plenty of customers regardless.

Call me Michael, call me Jerry, call me :censored:, call me :censored:, call me :censored:! Whatever helps you guys sleep at night!

What do I have to be jealous about. I have never had to run scammer specials. And those are your words not mine. You titled your ads... Scammers Specials.

ok :censored::censored::censored: but you still cant explain all the similarities between you and Jerry (who DID scam someone)

Here's where I get skeptical:

You have multiple connections to Jerry Boyd that you are incapable and unwilling to explain, and cannot dispute with any reasonable or logical answer. They are more than just random or "coincidental". "Jerry Boyd" has already scammed someone, thus if you are him (which based on the evidence as pointed out, you are indeed), YOU scammed someone.

The bigger red flag for me is that you have been proven (and admitted) to being an animal flipper. You get in animals from God knows who and turn them right around and sell them. You also sell animals before they even enter your possession, thus having animals entering and leaving your facility left and right, from all sorts of places and sellers, without ANY kind of proper 60-90 day quarantine, without keeping them separate from each other. If you have animals coming in from 10 different breeders, each group would need to be kept in a separate quarantine space and I highly doubt you have that. You are risking your customers' collections and livelihood by selling unquarantined animals that potentially carry infectious bacteria and viruses.

2 years ago, I bought a snake from a douchebag just like you. He had some shady comments about him but nothing really solid that could be "proven". Come to find out, an adult female het clown that he sold to me as being one of his own, was actually one of many that he was flipping left and right for profit, and had been kept in with HUNDREDS of imports all in the same room. This animal came in sick with RI symptoms, and normal antibiotic treatments did nothing. Within mere days, this infection spread and killed another of my animals. It kept spreading and spreading, and over the course of months, I spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on antibiotics, antivirals, necropsies, tissue samples, blood tests, even experimental vaccines imported from Germany with a special FDA permit obtained by my reptile vet. NOTHING worked. Turns out this was a new virus that the reptile community had never seen before. 3 different vets worked on the bodies and the tissue samples and couldn't identify it, including one of the leading herpetologists at the University of Florida veterinary school. Samples were sent to the CDC and even they couldn't identify it. I lost half my collection of morphs, and ended up having to euthanize EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL I owned, including my original pet and a $4,000 genetic stripe ball python that I had on breeding loan. Then I had to burn and destroy all the racks, tubs, equipment, etc. I lost over $20,000 in vet bills, lab work, animals, and equipment, and my hobby that I worked hard for years to build was destroyed. All because of an animal flipper like yourself.

I only recently started coming back to reptile forums, talking with old friends from the hobby. The wounds still hurt, but they have healed, and I am starting over again, although nowhere near the capacity I was before. And to my HORROR, I come back to find another scammer like yourself luring people into buying animals with no histories, no quarantine, and without honest representation (ones you lie about and ones you don't even own yet). I feel sick to my stomach over the thought of someone else going through what I went through, all because YOU see dollar signs and want to flip and sell ball python morphs, including deformed ones, to unsuspecting inexperienced buyers.

Sounds like you need to practice proper quarantine methods yourself? Maybe if you would have you could have saved your collection?

:ack2: like YOU have any place to talk about proper quarantine procure.

My collection sure is doing well and I've never had any problems with anyone who has bought from me so Id say Im doing fine. :D

But from what Jen is saying it seems not to matter if you quarantine or not as she did and still infected her whole collection. Or did I read that wrong?

If you're not Jerry, then why post your quarantine cages in the post about him? Why continue posting in this thread at all? You already posted them in the post about you.

....because people keep accusing him of being Jerry. He's been brought into this thread and since people keep bringing it up....he comes back to try to defend himself.
If you all want to keep telling him he's Jerry, then expect him to come back and say something...:shrug01:
