    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Met this guy at a table at the Taylor Reptile show, and I knew he was mine (even though it took me half the day to finally decided to buy him). Four year old male Nicaraguan boa (my first), roughly 4 ft long. Real sweet disposition too. I have named him Santiago. Say 'HI'!

Thanks guys! What I couldn't get in the pics was the amount of irridescence coming off his scales, it's insane! Will have to take more pics outside once the weather warms up.

Nice pick-up John. Congrats!! He looks only slightly smaller than my CA female (not sure of her exact origin) and she's either a later '03 or early
04. She's a total sweetheart, too. Enjoy him!!

Thanks Matt!

I almost picked up a female hypo het T+ Nic, but the baby had a swelling at the nose caused by rubbing. The vendor suggested it just needed to be drained and it would be OK, but I didn't want to risk it. I spend enough on my critters, don't need to add vet bill :D

I've got a gorgeous hypo boa that I THINK is part Hogg Island (has extreme color and some green specks in her color). But anyway, she's recently developed a bad nose rub that I have to take her to the doc to check on. Would do it this week, but....it looks like icy roads in GA are going to force me to wait 'til next week. But no, I wouldn't have picked up one (already) like that, either.

Sorry to derail this thread but . . . . .
"Drain" a nose rub ? if there is a swelling behind the nostrils is generally solid in mass and therefore can not be "drained"

Such vendors should be avoided.
