In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

WARNING!!!! BenSiegelreptiles

I have recently ordered from them and had no problems at all even on the phone. i kep calling every other day changing the order ,and even e mail me back and toled me the shipping, right away, i even talked to his wife a few times. ANNA M BRAUN

In the event that you read everything in this thread..

I orderd from Ben two days ago. Quick Paypal acceptance, shipping concerns (weather) were addressed via e-mail. To top it all off, I got a call today to confirm that it was ok to ship today for tomorrow and to ensure that the address was correct.
Ben is one of the few people I still trust.
John "Blue" Francis :yesnod:

When I was 16 I saved up to buy an Albino BP (beleive they were going for $1,500 at the time), and asked my mom to call Ben up to place the order. Someone answered, and she said "Hi, I would like to order a snake for my son" to which she was told he was too busy to deal with her, and basically hung up.

I'm sure I will get some crap over the "basically hung up" statement, so I will elaborate. The person on the phone said they were moving boxes and didn't have time for this, she apologized, and then whoever was on the other end hung up without any acknowledgment.

I was sitting right next to her when it happened, so this is a first hand account. She called back later on and had no problems, though, although I've always wondered if it was because she mentioned what the snake was immidiately the second time.

Not saying Ben is a bad person or anything; simply sharing my experience. I'm sure they didn't mean to come off as rude as he did seem in a genuine hurry to get something done, but it was enough to where I wouldn't bother with them again.

With that said, the snake arrived perfect, on time, properly sexed, had no issues feeding, and has since been proven several times.

I have to say, i don't care what I'd be doing; if someone wanted to buy one of my snakes, I'd drop what I was doing, and take the time to talk with them.

Business tip of the day: Make every call a sales call!

I just stumbled on this thread while I'm waiting for my Ambien to kick in so I can go night-night. I have to say it is so unfortunate most Christians we hear from are not good representatives of the Christ I have read about. I consider myself a poor excuse for a Christian most of the time, but hey, I'm trying. The Christ I have read about did not like fakers and could read their hearts like you are reading this text. He never hurt anyone, but performed many miracles the physicians of the day could only charge their fees on and say sorry, but there's nothing more we can do. He told us to pray for our enemies, and not insult them, or worse, try to hurt them in any way. He loved the meek and the innocent ones of this world with a special love almost like one must feel when they are saying goodbye to a parent whose place will soon be vacant. He also always knew a concise way to say something that would leave everyone speechless and ready to contemplate for hours on what was spoken by Him, such as "You have judged her correctly, now he who is without sin may cast the first stone".
Yep, there is definitely something wrong with most Christians out there now days, and sadly, I must admit of more than a few times where I was ashamed of myself for even thinking of claiming to be a follower of the Prince of Peace. The only cure I have been able to find is actually reading and studying the bible, both the OT and NT, and praying for wisdom. I think if everyone would spend just 15 minutes each day contemplating the crucifixion, we would find a lot more love in the world and be more likely to be passive rather than aggressive.
Well, my Ambien is telling me despite all my broken bones now with arthritis, and the inability to get comfortable at all, it is going to finally help me sleep for a little while and hopefully dream of a time coming soon when the voice of the archangel shouts, the skies roll up like a scroll, and all the great men and women of this world shout for the rocks to fall on them in order to hide from the face of He who sits on the throne.
If you want to learn why Sunday is the Mark of the Beast, what the number 666 really represents (Vicarious Filii Dei), how death is really a sleep, why the Titanic sank the year before the Federal Reserve Act was passed (since Jacob Astor drowned with the ship, and he was all that stood in JP Morgan's way), why our government now has no protestant judges in the supreme court, what happened in 1815 at the council of Vienna that set the stage for the demise of the USA, and how that demise is now coming to fruition, then please feel free to PM me, and I will show you what the last decade of studying history and scripture has shown me. I don't light a lamp, and then shove it under a bed. Good night all.

What did I miss? I reread the whole thread...Where did all this religion come into play?
Sure, Sheila said (paraphrasing) "we need god", but this isn't church here. This was an entertaining discussion about Ben Siegel reptiles.
:ack2:
I just fail to see how this post has anything to do with the thread...

This is one of those times I wish it was acceptable to just remove a post.....

Let's do the next best thing and not encourage such behavior by commenting on it - this was an old thread that was last resurrected 2 yrs ago. Let it sink back to the depths unless somebody has a comment about Ben Siegel that seems more appropriate here than in any of his other threads.

Please allow me to retort...

My earlier post was mainly in response to this and a couple other messages like it in this thread. I can still remember the very first biochem class I took at Shands teaching hospital at the U of F, and came across the molecules known as Laminins. It may behoove some of you to take a look at their overall shape and the functions they play in one's body. In the different hospitals I have been given priveleges in I have never seen anyone knowingly die an aethiest. Wide is the gate, but narrow the path, my friends.

I love it when the condescending, judgmental people express their Christianity....I really do. :hehe:

You'd think God would have recruited a better marketing manager...
