Realized I never got around to introducing myself around here. I'm Diana and I live in Silicon Valley.
I keep mostly geckos (cresties, gargoyles, pictus, electric blues, and gonatodes albogularis) but also a few snakes (kenyan sand boas, just recently picked up a trio of adult corns and intend to get a few balls over the next year or two.
I started out as a fish hobbyist--but soon after I started working at the pet store where I do, about 5 years ago, I started getting really interested in the reptiles as well. I started out with a pair of cresties and progressed to, well, a shed full of critters. The little shed out in the back yard WAS a selling point of the house my husband and I bought about a year ago
it's now the fish and lizard room, and the cats no longer puke up half eaten crickets on his pillow like they did when I had the herps in a spare bedroom inside. Everyone wins.
