    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well I had a guy tell me that UPS is ok with shipping live reptiles now. All you need to do is put a "Live Reptiles" on the box and ship overnight. I called UPS, emailed UPS, and spoke to my friends UPS rep and all of them are saying it's not true. No live snakes can be shipped via UPS without a waiver and they are not giving out any waivers at this time.
Well a friend of mine got a box via UPS with "live reptiles" all over the box and they actually delivered it. He asked the driver and the driver said it's up to the hub it goes into? This answer seemed very strange.
Has anyone else heard of this?

UPS never had issues shipping live lizards, just not live snakes. The UPS store by me in particular seems to be up to date on this issue, since they always check the outside of my box for a contents label, and always ask exactly what it is I'm shipping out. I've been shipping UPS for 10 years and I've never been denied when I ship lizards, but then again, I've always been 100% up front with the staff, even to the point of not taping up the box until after the staff can see the lizards I'm sending out. I figure education is the best possible tool for the reptile trade, and showing them the insulation inside the box, the heat packs, and how secure everything is makes them feel that much more confident about shipping reptiles and that it's actually a pretty common occurrence.
