In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys Im still fairly new to posting classifieds and cant quite figure out how to edit my existing adds can anyone help me with this?

Thank you!

Click the edit button that will be at the bottom of the ad, and change what you need to change.....If you want to change the title or the attached images, you will have to click Go Advanced when you get to the Edit screen - that will open the extra fields for you.

If I paid for a reptile and got a different one then I paid for but noticed that the ad was edited after I paid can I find out what they edited? I copied a pix of the said reptile when I made the purchased, got a totally different looking reptile but when I went back to the ad it had a different pix and stats but the same date. I looked up all classified ads from this seller and the one I thought I bought is not to be found, any advice?

I would post in the Board Of Inquiry (BOI) and others may come forward, a mod may resurrect an old ad or something may surface. Most viewers want everything up front (correspondence, emails, photos, texts, etc) to make a determination of what may have happened. It could be a misunderstanding or you could have been played. Have you confronted the seller yet?

Sent a pm to the seller and still have not heard back as of yet. I just wanted to get my chickens in a row if the out come is unfare. I understand ppl make mistakes but a flag went up when I saw the editing after the sale. Thank you for your very helpful advise.

One other thing to remember, once an item is sold, the ad must be edited to mark it as "sold." GL.

Yes I understand that, however the ad that was there is gone, not even there as sold. Looks like the reptile I bought is for sale again with different sex and hatch date and price but is the pix of the one I bought. The difference in the reptiles is very differnt I will wait to see what the seller has to say.

If the pictures in the ad were changed, we can't bring up the old ones - that's why it's a good idea to make a copy of any ad from which you make a purchase.
If the ad was gone, it was deleted - whether by the seller, or by a moderator.

Seller wrote to me and I understand what happened and I am ok with the situation, nothing was done to mislead me in any way. However I never thought of copying the ad, very good sound advise for the future, thank you hhmoore and friends.
