In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy DEAD SNAKES from Kevin South of The Constrictors Labrynth

Might take a little bit longer than normal for the fact that photobucket is being mean to me.
Its being incredibly slow and stupid, but i promise i will get these uploaded and on here.

Just click on "go advanced" under the quick reply box... and choose "manage attachments" under the text box. You can upload directly to the BOI... no need to deal with photobucket.

Copy Email Nick Sent me.

Jay, You are THE MAN!
For the record, I thought that bringing to light a person that is purposely shipping ill snakes to others, I assumed that would have been a good thing......until I see many people only read the last entry, and do not educate themselves as to precisely what the thread is about. I thought people would want to know, that it would be a good thing, that it would help protect others, that it might stop the person from repeated what he did to us......sadly, I've been thrown to the wolves, as though I'm the bad guy. It is ruining my reputation. Should I have said nothing, done nothing, let him do it to other buyers? Not sure at this point.
Here ya go............any help is so very very much appreciated, truly!
Sincerely,
Nick & Family
PS. Let me know if it showed up. Oh, by the way, what would you or anyone you know say if I sent you a snake 3-4 years old, 700-ish grams?! How about one just as old, much less than even 700 grams!? Yeah, LOL, crazy huh?!.......because that's what we got from Kevin South.......sadly!
Thanks again!

No problem dude. I know that a lot of weird things are being thrown around in here, and im trying to help whichever side i can to get this resolved.

Also, this doesn't seem to be a necropsy pointing to IBD...it's not even a necropsy.

I dont know who Wendy and Brad are.

I only reposted what Nick sent me, which after uploading it as fast as I could on my hubbys computer (i guess my desktop doesnt have adobe  ), I read it here... just looks like a regular vet report.

At least he did something though.

Nowhere does that say anything about IBD. And do you really expect me to believe manual chest compressions were given to a snake?

Yeah, at least he sent something...but did he pull this report off the web? No idea how to search for that to see.

In the end, still no necropsy report, and this vet report client name is not matching up.

I just checked to make sure there is a vet by that name in CO as there was not a contact # or address. Everything seems to check out there... It seems my initial gut feeling may have been correct. Kevin sent some crap snakes out & Nick is trying to take advantage of the situation. Sometimes there is not good vs. bad in these situations, it seems we may have bad vs. worse...

I wouldn't jump to that yet...although it is a possibility.

1.) Supposedly Kevin refunded Nick and sent a pair of free snakes
2.) Nick provided a vet report, not a necropsy, therefore no IBD report
3.) The vet report states a Wendy Finkle is the client, and also mentions a Brad

I'm thinking this report isn't Nick's at all.

OK people, I'm done with all of this stuff....I'm just tired.
Again, I assumed that telling everyone that there's someone on fauna selling and shipping sick snakes would have been a good thing, yet you guys permitted the guilty one off the hook.
We opened the box, he packed the box!
He sent a 2006 500 grams snake, and a 2007 700-ish gram snake. Huh? Did I just type that? Yup! I said it, an 06 = 500 grams and an 07 = 700 +/- grams.
People, if someone sent you such snakes, how would you feel?
Anyway, again, I offer, for anyone that wishes to see the vet report, drop me a line.
I stand by my name.
I stand by the animals we keep.
I stand by the great job we do to maintaina clean and healthy snake area.
I stand by my the thigs I've said.
I stand by the way I do business and treat others.
I'm proud of the work I do with reptiles and other animals, and the time it allows me to spend with my kids.
I am proud of how good of a job, and how dedicated we are to helping and caring for any and all living things under our roof.
I hold no malice towards anyone, regardless of what was typed. People make mistakes, all of us......but I can tell you, without a doubt, without a question, we have never knowingly and or purposely sold a snake that was sick. It simply is NOT the way we would do business.
Thanks for listening and thanks to those that read enough to understand that WE OPENED THE BOX, HE SHIPPED THE BOX! All 3 snakes, in one bag, a box too small, and as we soon learned, packed with very sick snakes!
I tried to let everyone know, and yet we got beat up for it. It's all very odd indeed.
We think we're going out tomorrow to buy some goldfish, LOL, no, just kidding........we love snakes......and we're going nowhere ;-)....we're here to stay ;-)
Good night eveyone...........and for the record, this is the last time I type on fauna. The next time we know of someone knowingly selling sick animals, we think we'll just sit back and say nothing.........because according to some writers, that's what we should have done, said nothing.
It's like the Twilight Zone ;-)
Again, thanks to those that tossed us support and understanding. Logic is good.
Remember, HE PACKED THE BOX, WE MERELY OPENED THE BOX!

Ahhh i see now. Sorry, I must have misread that, I had thought it read that wendy was the vet... Yes, this appears to be a fraudulent vet report. Where in the heck did this guy get a false vet report from the same area and why would he not at least change the name?

Wow...here we go again.

Nick, if you would have simply and coherently answered the questions of you, and provided proof (which I don't see that vet report as proof) you would not be in this situation. You have shown yourself as untrustworthy, and it's sticking to you. We need to see PROOF. Kevin was the only one to come on here and provide any sort of proof (the emails). You can't even provide PICTURES.
Answer these questions:
Who are Wendy Finkle and Brad?
Where is the necropsy report?
Where are the pictures of the dead snakes?

You still sold them and cried ibd . Your reputation, or lack there of has went deep down the crapper. In my eyes you are worse than Kevin. I don't like the fact that he sent snakes on deaths door. Could you please tell us who those people mentioned are. You've seemed to side step that question. I don't even think that is your vet report. Why didn't you send it to me when I asked? Did you have to dig one up somewhere? I think so.

Ok...I am going to make an assumption and say that Brad and Wendy are the couple he sold the snake to.

If that is the case then I also want to point out that Nick is a bald faced liar.

Nowhere in that report does it state that the snake has or is suspected of having IBD.

Nowhere in that report does it state that the animal is 500 or 700 grams as Nick is stating. (incidentally, the pics do not support those weights either.)

Nick also stated that their animal died...the vet report says that they decided to euthanize. Not the same thing at all.

The vet report also shows a number of anomolies that would lead me to believe this was a general vet...not a reptile specialist. Most general vets couldn't diagnose death let alone IBD in a reptile.

Go to bed Nick....this one is over

Kevin, not sure Man.
Let us view, analyze for just a brief moment.
~The 3 snakes traveled together, in the same bag.
~I mentioned fairly quickly to you that the het Sharp was SO skinny, not eating, and looked ill.
~The above snake, het Sharp, died, and I wrote to offer you a body and or proof.
~You were kind enough to offer me the Pos VPI pair as compensation (appreciated)
~I expressed serious concern about the Pos Super, you in return told me he ate fine and you "kept him thin". I felt assured you were sincere.
~Vet told us that the snake was so close to death, he was surprised it lasted this long, and said he had not eaten if a very very long time. It died
~The post inspection should IBD caused death ~The Coral, weird, tongue will hang, acts so very odd.
~Since Coral traveled with the 2 that died, and is acting weird, maybe we can assume she is ill as well....??

Now, the second snake, dead, IBD, I paid a certain amount, I feel it fair that I receive that refunded so that I can make up at least part of the money spent on trying to save it, and to pay for the IBD report. Also, the Coral, needs to go......to your place, or somewhere. We both know that if 2 are dead already, and IBD is reported, that the Coral most assuredly will also have IBD. I am open to suggestions, but the fair thing to do is to refund the cost of the snakes, or have snakes sent to me from someone else, unassociated with your stock, as yours may also now be infected. I'm not sure Kev, I just want it all to go away Bud.......it's simply not fair to us. We paid for healthy snakes, we have 2 dead, and one retard.....if you did not know these snakes were ill, I'm not sure if you spent enough time with them, or you may have noticed they were less than half the weight as they should have been.
I have 2 dead, one which is not well. I spent x-amount, I prefer to have that amount, minus the $125 you've covered with a pair that I also need to dump because of fears they are bad too. Either way, I lost my money, I need help. I'm all ears, and I do not wish to argue....but right is right, and wrong is wrong. I am telling the truth, and I feel you are aware that I am telling the truth.
Also, again, I'd prefer to NOT say you sent out 3 snakes with IBD, but instead, allow you time to cure your stock, and move forward, untainted, good reputation, all this crap behind us. I know this could potential cost me many $1000's Bud, many $1000's!!!!! This is NOT a good day for us over here! Kev, I want to disappear into the sunset, but I will not do so with dead/sick snakes AND empty pockets.......you sent me sick snakes. Also, for thought, I have had over 250 snakes sent to me over the past year, maybe over 300, and none, none, were shipped together in the same bag or the same Tupperware container, none, never, ever, from nobody, none. You are a seasoned breeders, so it's very odd why you did this......especially when seasoned breeders are suppose to know better. I'm just confused Kev, absolutely confused.
What do I want, let's start with my money refunded....and you can pay for the Coral to be shipped back if you want her. She is sick, you can see it, you can sense it......she is not well, she doesn't move much, and if she continues to live, and since yours snakes were diagnosed with IBD, the Coral cannot stay here. Concerning her, you tell me what to do. Concerning my money, having it refunded would be a start to better relations and putting all of this behind us.
Thank you for listing Kevin, honestly, thank you for listening!
Nick

Ok Nick.... where is the report? I’m callin BS on what you sent!

Well he's viewing the thread right now...guess trying to figure out his next lie.

Come on Nick, give me something good to read. I mean, really? You've been a member here since 2010, and you seriously don't know how the B.O.I. works? I've only been here a short amount of time and I know that you need to post proof. All we got from you is some half-:censored: lies, bad grammar/spelling filled ramblings, and what looks like either a bogus vet report or one you yanked off the internet.

Also, to piggyback John, imagine this.....

Nick buys lots and lots of snakes, one gets sick, he sells it. Wendy and Brad contact Nick, tell him he sold them a sick snake and they are taking it to a vet.

Nick has already played Kevin, so he gets the idea to say that this is one of the snakes that Kevin sold him.

Without any pictures, how can we know whether or not this snake came from Kevin?
