    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay, im a noob to the herp industry and cornsnakes in general.
But ive loved the cornsnake for over a year, and more specifically the Anery cornsnake.

Now, from what I understand, Anerythristic is the absence of all red pigment in the snakes scales, through selective breeding.

That said, how in the world do you get a blood red anery cornsnake, when blood red means red colored, and anerythristic is the absence of red pigment in the scales??

Anery is not through selective breeding, it is a recessive mutation. But bloodred was created through selective breeding. I know its confusing to mix the two, seeing as you are basically kind of going backwards lol.

But look up a granite/pewter corn snake.

Granite=Anery x Bloodred

Pewter=Charcoal x Bloodred

Stephen - any/all breeds/morphs unless naturally found populations, are created through selective breeding, regardless ( actually especially ) if it is a recessive mutation, by definition.

So you are trying to tell me the albino ball python was made through selective breeding? Yea right dude.

There is a difference between a morph and something that has been selectively bred for a certain trait.

Let me rephrase.

Of course you have to breed anery to anery to get anery.

But there is a difference in breed normal corns with dark black patterns to each other to produce okeetees. Get it?
