• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey hey, bout time we got some locals in the STL on here! What pythons are you working with? I'm a retic guy myself.

rebel, I keep mostly Bp's, I have a few pet 'tics but I dont breed them. I have 1 to 2 each of a dozen various hots and venomoids mainly for educational purposes for some local boyscout troops and things like that.

im from kc and just starting to get into the reptile scene... any tips or pointers?

Yeah get ready to watch your disposable income go down furry and come out smelly a few days later, lol.

What are you working with? I'm sure if you chime in your questions we could gladly help.

Thinking about starting with balls and maybe some geckos but eventually want retics and iguanas and monitors
I know a whole lot of nothing about these beauties and am trying to do some research before I go get one

I started with BPs and moved to retics, I dumped ALOT of cash on Balls, and wound up getting rid of them for a fraction of the price. Just a thought. But on the other hand BPs have way more morphs at the moment, but they are not any cheaper,

It's all about what you want. Yeah any can be a pain, but start off with a baby or a yearling and you will be surprised at how easy it can be. But no I don't recommend getting a 15ft snake to start but you will be fine by the time a baby gets bigger.
