We are concerned because for the AMOUNT of animals he's listing, he doesn't seem to have the set ups to handle it this is an invitation to more disease spread.

From what I can see right here, you were awfully sweet on the until they questioned you putting a 2000 dollar discount on a 4000 dollar animal...let's be real now. And

What disease did he spread and since when are you guys the husbandry police? Im aware of the new Scammer Police division, but havent heard about this new Husbandry Police.

All of you post your set ups right now to prove that you're not potentially carrying disease in your animals that you don't know about. I want tubs, racks, rooms, the whole shebang with dated newspapers in each photo.

C'mon now. Im down with scammer bashing, but he's not a scammer here. Just a dumbass that didn't know the rules of the game.

Im out though, you guys have fun. Back to my corner of Fauna.

For once i agree with pav here , the self appointed police on the boi are rather over zealous at times ( this thread) the guy has done everything asked and even provided pics , many of u have chosen to criticize every little step he takes , seems more like hate for flippers and that's fine but GD some of you go overboard.

The guy has tried to appease the hounds here yet cant , this thread is long enough and anyone can click it and decide if the guy is ok or not to deal with .Myself had an offer from him and decided against dealing with him , lets not drag out this just to make yourselves fee better .So far i see people criticize his husbandry , quarantine procedure and other such things , where the proof its causing him to sell sick animals???

I call BS.

The dude had an ad up for two nice Pastels. BOTH snakes were flawed, one had a nub tail and one had a kink. BOTH snakes were sexed as males, so if he sexed them as males, he no doubt HAD to see the kinks and the nub tail. YET, he allowed me to call him and talk to him about the snakes for over an hour, email him back and forth with no disclosure of the flaws. It was not until I questioned him and told him ok, I am sending money that he finally told me about the flaw...yes, FLAW. He said one snake had a kink, and he was sending me pictures. I got several pictures, and said ok, which snake is this one? Found out, I got sent pics of both pastels, both had flaws. So, he put up an ad for two male Pastels, without any mention of the fact that both had flaws. The pictures he posted in his ads conveniently left out tail pictures, where the kinks were located. After hours of emailing back and forth, and a phone call that probably was on my dime, and long distance, he finally fesses up. That makes him NOT A GOOD GUY!

Actually the hate for flippers is over on Pav's other site. What we hate is scammers. He was busted in his scams here. Now the question remains... and we will never know.... how many did he scam before we caught him. I would be willing to bet that we didn't catch his first one.

As for appeasing the hounds. If you lack mental character and are willing to scam someone out of their hard earned money or animals... then there is no redemption for you. If you take the time to plan out your scams... that is premediatated... and the only thing you are capabile (sp?) of feeling sorry about is the fact you got caught.

I agree and that's a reason when he pm'd me an offer i refused on the grounds of these threads.
never said he was not someone to avoid , just this thread has taken a turn for the worse.

True , that is why i dont see the point in grilling the guy over set ups and such , hes been proven a bad guy so,what does his set up matter?? hes someone to avoid and anyone who does not heed the warning risk getting nailed .

This is exactly why some of us have taken issue with Michael. There has been a lot of evidence of him being related to another person on this website, who did in fact try to scam someone. Michael himself offered animals for sale that were deformed and misrepresented, and also listed animals for sale that were supposedly already sold to others (this was eventually cleared up but still raised red flags). He also was proven to be offering animals for sale that he did not own and used pictures from a breeder's website without permission to advertise said animal. This also raised red flags. Granted, he apologized and says he supposedly learned his lesson. But that incident is WHY everyone started being hard on him, and wanting to delve deeper into his operation. He also came out of the blue offering some very expensive animals for dirt cheap prices, which raised more red flags and a few questions. Once it came out that he did not breed these animals and was instead buying and flipping animals for profit, combined with "not noticing" deformities in 2 animals he DID produce, questions arose about whether he was properly set up to broker animals in a safe and ethical way, and what his quarantine procedures were. As someone who has suffered a massive total loss of animals due to a flipper/broker, I found it necessary that Michael should offer this information for those considering buying from him in order for them to make an informed decision and thus decide whether there was a risk of disease or poor health in dealing with him. The reptile community as a whole is responsible for maintaining a set of standards amongst ourselves in order to protect these animals and our investments, and it is our duty to expose and weed out those that fall short and risk others in their operations. The only way to do this is through investigation, which is what was done here.

Yes you definitely did some investigating.... But have I not provided all the info I could on questions you asked? Along with any and all pics you asked me to post? I think most people would be fed up with it by now but I have done everything youve asked.....

When you get back into it I'm sure the community, seeing how concerned they are with animal health, will be questioning how you disposed of all your infected cages and accessories since you had such a horrible virus spread. And if they start asking you for multiple pics every other day of this and that Im sure you will kindly oblige but then you will know how much of a pain in the butt it is.

Actually they won't, because it was all advertised very clearly with pictures and e-mail copies 2 years ago. There are pictures of the piles of frozen dead bodies in my BOI thread for the world to see, as well as pictures of the empty racks. I also made it known that everything was burned, aside from the PVC racks which were given to someone who owned an auto garage who did not own nor know anyone with snakes, to use to store auto parts. Should anyone care to ask questions, I would gladly provide answers. Should anyone request pictures of my new setup and new quarantine location, I would gladly provide them. It's part of rebuilding.

As stated in my other tread my "flipping" days are over... I have my collection where I want it and am focusing on what I have now.

This hobby can be brutal, as can the people in it. I know this first hand. Sometimes you have to really take a beating, show them that you know your stuff and are doing what needs to be done, and that you have nothing to hide and will not give up. Only then do you earn the respect and reputation that you're after. Then you can say it was hard-earned, and as long as you stay on the up and up, no one will have any reason to judge you otherwise.

Exactly! Could mods please bring the ad back up because there are post on there you cannot see in serpents screen shot(figures). It's me stating exactly where I got this guy and where. I say many people say img but i bought as vpi axanthic. Did o not say those exact words? I deleted the ad only to revise it with more in depth description so noone thinks I'm getting over on anyone

I said exactly where when and how I got him on that ad. Even said feel free to contact them for confirmation. Focal. Only bred him to other crosses my axanthic is only pushing 760grams right now.
