Based on the information provided,,,what,,,there is nothing in that information that says I would send him his dep. back and resell the reptiles to someone else, you don't have a clue!

I don't have a clue? Less than a couple hours ago you didn't even know what you could and could not ship through the mail. Has to make people wonder what else you don't know.

As for the information my assumptions are based on....the posted emails indicating you went with the other buyer for one reason, you got a higher offer. Not because of a lack of a deposit but because you saw the opportunity to make more money off your "rescued" animals.

Why would they kid you about NOT being able to ship through USPS?! That's one of the stupidest statements I've heard today. They (people on this site) showed you proof, over and over, and you still disputed it.

BTW, talking to employees at USPS is like having your right hand not know what your left hand is doing. They don't know what the hell is going on at their other Post Offices, much less what the laws of the USPS are.

Point Blank answer is...DON'T SHIP THROUGH USPS, it's against the LAW!

that is true, my own aunt works for USPS and she asked me with who i was shipping through. I told her i was using fedex and she get "upset" saying to use USPS. I told her that I was told it was illegal and she said it's probably not and it cheaper and yada yada yada. I told her she will have to find out at work.

As far as I am concerned, whatever else happens in this thread, it is a positive thread because a search of either the buyer or the seller will bring this thread up and prospective purchasers can read through and see if they want to do business with either of them. Based on what I've read, personally I would not.

I think what is really sad in this case, and many other similar cases is there are so many people out there right now selling, buying, breeding reptiles just to make a fast buck!

The market is saturated with reptiles, but every day you hear of new back yard breeders who don't really seem to care about the animals well being as long as it some how can make them a fast buck!!
