    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The low-life thief in this case is a Mark Jones of Boston. The OP shipped to a Fall River, MA address and at least one other person on this forum has done business with Mark, so he's probably not Jabari Walters and likely does live in the Boston area.

But yeah, the bro-abuse is common - and freaking annoying, bro :rofl:
 
Dylan, what e-mail addresses did he use during your correspondence? This whole scenario is carbon copy of what I delt with in 2009... right down to the annoying over usage of the word "bro" and the atrocious grammar.

So sorry you are dealing with this slime ball. I was so shocked and appalled that he would have the nerve to ask you for a positive trader rating. I had to read some of his logic and reasoning all over again. In reading through it he was even hoping that you would hook him up with one of your ball python friends so he could scam them too. What a total piece of crap. Thank you for bringing this loser to light.

I actually have been looking at that thread but didn't want to say anything yet.

What brought me to it was checking some of the words he spelled uniquely in his emails.

The first one was the word "tommoro" and the multiple times it was spelled that way. Which brought me to the emails on that thread. I had other threads to address and hadn't looked much further. But so far, It would be down right scary if there are two different people. At first glance, It appears the emails were written by the same people in both threads.

Mark offered you the snow boa? (wasn't he getting one from somebody else? it is probably another snake that he got in a trade and hasn't even quarantined it.)

I would say NO! You NEED to get your snake back. Once you get your snake back then you can find a KIND, COMPASSIONATE and TRUTHFUL person to sell or trade it to. I think you need to stand your ground here and not take anymore crap from this guy.

AAAAAND he is probably trying to do this becasue he knows how old you are and thinks it is ok and easy to do this to a kid. If I were you I would NOT budge. Get YOUR snake back and don't let him BULLY you... which is exactly what he is doing!
 
Who has the snow boa? Where are the CURRENT photos? Did this snow boa ever come up in previous conversations/emails/texts? (I know he bragged alot about what he supposedly has - then said he pretty much doesn't have squat)

Why doesn't he just ship back YOUR snake since he's in a position to offer up another snake?

If it were me, I'd turn it down. There is no proof at this point that he even HAS any snakes at all. He hasn't given you any reason to believe a word he's said thus far, so why believe him now?

Dylan, he's been full of BS since the beginning. Excuses and back-peddling and trying to intimidate and bully you since he got your snake. He's tried to twist and contort the entire transaction every step of the way, even going to far as to blaming you for not requiring a signature. Like that would have changed a thing - NOT!

He's hid his personal info from the beginning - having you ship your snake to some "William Anthony" at some apt/condo complex, and no Unit number - and then gave you two different stories about the supposedly failed delivery of your snake!

He stated at least 5 times about "being at work", "got a break at work", "work fulltime", blah blah, blah. Then he told you he doesn't have a job. So which is it?

This guy cannot be trusted; he's proven that. He ripped you off, he's busted. Shad makes a good point, he could rip off someone else to get a snake back to you.

What you decide is entirely up to you, if it were me, no. You rip me off - I either get my money back pronto or you will be looking at a warrant.
 
Ya know, one thing I love about this place is the fact that you can see who is reading what. And then when it's the BOI, it's even better to see which bad guy's are "lurking" to see what's being said, yet aren't man enough to say anything about the situation. For goodness sakes, give the kid back his snake. You know you're in the wrong, so do the right thing for once and don't cheat a 15 year old kid anymore than you already have.
 
Yeah Mark, we can see that you're reading this thread. Time to man up, admit your wrongs, and get Dylan's snake back to him. If you got rid of the snake, then PAY him it's value. There's no one to blame here for anything but you, so don't try to come up with any excuses. Just give him his snake back.

I really do hope you decide to do the right thing here, as you can't make it through life taking advantage of 15 year old kids. It's obviously only gotten you so far, as you've found yourself in quite a mess here now.
 
And please don't offer him any more animals...as the animals in your possession seem to end up ill or dead. Just give him his snake or pay him for it.
