    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Let me know if he actually ships your snake and what kind of condition she is in. I am in the process of putting something together to help with that. I would also like to add this guy is a complete joke and has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to snakes. I can say that I get my rats from Ray and he is a stand up guy. He only came on here because I told him how this guy was scamming other peope as he had been doing this in this area. I am in the same town and he can welcomely drop it off and I will ship it to dylan. Either way dylan just let me know if and when you get anything.
 
I can't believe he still sent via USPS. It's a crime - a felony I believe to ship live animals through the post office. He admitted earlier that he lies and just tells the Post Office that there are plants in there. Even after being told this was illegal in an earlier post, he still does it knowing Dylan will post the communication on this BOI thread.

Dylan - I'm glad you're video taping from the time of delivery. Nothing like catching a crime in action. This guy is the worst I've seen for so many reasons - the deception, the trillion lies, the foolishness in trying to resell the same animal on the same site from which he stole it, shipping through USPS, etc. If I see another BOI thread from someone who got ripped off by this guy, I will have no sympathy. Nobody should ever be doing business with him again, period.

What a dirty rotten move it was to send the snake 2 day USPS. This guy is trash and I hope karma comes back around to him.

Next day delivery is next day, that would be express mail. Second day delivery would be priority mail, which can take anywhere from 3-5 days. I have worked for the usps for 36 yrs.
The trucks that that snake will be in are like ovens, they are not temp controled. They sometimes sit in them for hours on end, in the sun. Boxes are thrown across bullbens into cages,,,,,ugh.
And we do ship live animals, in fact I had 4 big boxes of baby chicks this morning on my truck, live fish and pigeons yesterday.
I am a breeder of leopard geckos and even though I work for the usps I would never ever ship with them, hell, if I order crickets with them they die, why would I subject a reptile to that. I do not know the rules for shipping snakes, something I will have to look into.
This guy was just saving money, and the life of that beautiful creature is in his hands. I'm so ticked off right now!

United States Postal Service
Reptiles can be shipped by overnight (express) mail. Not all post offices have the same shipping times. Check with the branch you intend to ship from and see if they have overnight express to the zip code you are shipping to. If not, check with some of the other post office locations in your area to find out if there is any difference. Smaller outlying post offices are more likely to have to add an extra day as their packages have to first be routed to the larger facilities. Be sure, too, to check with the post office for their cut-off time; if you are late getting your package to the post office and getting it processed, your reptile will end up sitting in a back room at the postal facility until collected for the following day's shipment. This will be a major problem if you were shipping on Friday for Saturday delivery.

The Post Office does not guarantee live delivery. You can insure the shipment so that if the animal dies because the box got crushed you will get paid for the amount of insurance. But if the animal bakes or freezes to death, you won't. All that being said, I have never had a problem with reptiles I have shipped via overnight Express Mail, nor with reptiles shipped to me this way. While not all post offices may do this, ours calls us (a good reason to have the recipient's early morning phone number on the shipping documents as well as one they will be at later in the day) at the time they are sorting out the morning delivery and find our boxes. It's worth being dressed and ready to go pick up the box when they call at 6:00-6:30 AM to pick up the box so the reptiles don't have to spend another half day or so on the truck while the rest of the mail is being delivered.Note that the US Post Office will not accept snakes for shipment.
 
Well if this ordeal goes sour and it continues to go on, Ill pitch in for shipping the snake if someone picks it up from the guy.
 
UGGGGGGG..... This is the problem, people will do business with him again because "Mark" is NOT his real name! This guy is a career scammer. His MO, grammar, and general way of pardoning his own actions with ridiculous excuses like.. " just so u know i was selling it for u kid to get u money" like he was doing you a favor.... screams Billy Brier. I posted a link for Raymond to look at a picture but he never responded. Raymond you said you had seen him in person with Dylans snake... and that his name was Billy, didn't you? I've delt with this guy before ..... face to face in my own home. I had his physical address yet was still unable to acquire my animals. He's quick to call the police and even stooped as low as to threaten my family, idle threats but threats non the less.
Dylan, I truley hope you get something in the mail tomorrow.
 
Scary. I'm in Boston and it is in the upper 80s/low 90s and very very humid. Not good at all.

Ok I will. And I wish somebody else but him shipped it because he did a 2 day service. They really ticked me off.
 
Just heard on the radio to "extreme heat warnings for many states today" Got a nice overcast here going on but I can imagine that snake is gonna go through some pretty intense heat on the road. That sucks I would be furious if one of my animals were treated like this.

My god, this guy isnt trying to scam you, hes so mad at you for getting everyone to back you up, hes trying to kill your animal.

Is there anything anyone can do via reporting him for shipping a reptile through USPS?
I mean there has to be something that can be done.

And Dylan, get that tracking number.
Get it and watch it like a hawk.
Where it ends up, look up those temperatures via the NWS website (national weather service).

Its supposed to be over 105F here in SW Missouri today with a humidity of 80% and a heat index of 110.
Urgh.
 
The temp around here today is supposed to be in the upper 90s with a head index around "atleast 105" they said today... so I can imagine the weather... DC is to have extreme heat... hope the snake makes it alive...

It's blazing hot in the east today. He picked the WORST day possible to ship 2 day. I just hope the poor critter makes it.

You are either going to get an empty box or your snake back dead.
I am glad I trusted my gut on this guy when I was interested in a snake he had that changed genetics in different ads.
Good luck. Hopefully no one will ever do business with this guy ever again.
I would also report him to the postal authorities. Nail him to the wall for the shipping. He knew you can't ship snakes and did it anyway and also posted that he lies about shipments. I am sure the post office would love to be informed of this.

I know you can ship lizards through USPS unsure of snakes. But i do know fedex and UPS have policys that you cannot ship reptiles through them if it is not overnight, and I would imagine USPS has the rules in place. So he is definately violating some in that case.
 
I would definitely alert your local post office, or your postal carrier when it arrives. Sorry if people think it will only bring negative attention to the hobby, but this POS needs to be held accountable to a much higher level than the BOI.
 
i had it shipped this morning for wed delivery sorry got busy yesterday shipped ups didnt know i couldnt ship snakes again new to reptiles thats the truth and im mark jones not billy brier or whatever u guys think dylan will be happy so no worries guys.

Why did you tell Dylan that you already shipped yesterday for 2 day delivery through USPS? Wheres the tracking number? Feel free to post it here to show us you are not just blowing smoke in strange places.
