In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy REPTILE CITY

Slow Shippers!

Reptilecity is famous for shipping live reptiles using cheap & slow services. Just do a little Google'n. I made the mistake of ordering from reptile city. My boa was shipped via FedEx 2nd Day air. However it was shipped from Florida, and Reptilecity claims to be in Texas. I tracked down the drop shipper for reptilecity, it was Silver City Serpentarium of Myakka City, FL.. The snake was fine and still is today, but that was pretty lame of reptilecity. Also if you do a BBB search for them you'll see they had an F grade for years, then all of a sudden it was raised to a B overnight. Notice the location of Felton Willis when he replied to this thread, its in FL. So I just did a BBB search for reptile city in FL and there it was.... "F"!

I agree the OP jumped the gun starting this thread, but I think we should see the tracking number before saying this was all his fault.

I just had a look at the site, and they appear to be classic dropshippers. Not very good prices on King and Milksnakes, but they do have free shipping on orders over $100. These kind of places (if this is one) are the scourge of the industry. But that is for another thread. The OP really NEEDS to show up with a tracking # to retain any credibility. I do not believe for a minute that it was 7 day shipping and it looks suspiciously like a free animal scam. Some pics of the animal in question would greatly help to establish a case here.

OK James, You have made some claims here and you MAY have told a lie or two. You are going to have to post the tracking # of the shipment that you claimed was 7 day. You also need to present proof of some kind to back up your story. This thread is never going to go away, and right now, you aren't looking so good.

I agree...BUT...

Neither one of them is looking good at this point. Remember...RC can also post that tracking number if the OP is lying... (just saying.):shrug01:

There's no such thing as '7-day shipping', is there? There is UPS Ground, but I can't believe that'd take 7 days from Florida OR Texas to Kentucky, even if it's a remote part of Kentucky.

Everything is settled! Thanks for posting. Everything is done now. We're going to drop this topic.

I am opening up a reptile store here in my home town. I was wondering if anyone had any wholesale list, free supplies, or reptiles they just want to get rid of. ANY help would be nice. Please and Thank You. Please Contact me through

I think there's more to this than meets the eye.....

Smelling fishy how fast the OP wanted to end this and avoided all questions about requests for tracking number. You started this thread man you gotta stick with it to the end.

It would appear

That both parties have slunk off with their tails between their legs. Funny how the same word keeps popping up. Integrity and neither of them seem to have any of it. However, if they would like to return and prove me wrong...

I have delt with reptile city once in the past, using their wholesale company (HAHA reptiles) and they actually shipped my reptile order through USPS without any tracking or anything. it actually took 3 days to get here and supposibly they shipped from about 6 hours away from me. The animals arrived alive, but didnt really last to long. I decided never to use them again, but for years they have still been sending me wholesale lists.

I will probably take some heat for this, but shipping ANY reptile in any manner other than over night is cruel and inhumane treatment. I would have no problem handing out severe physical and mental punishment to those who do so.

Anyone that gave you heat for the bolded opinion is NOT someone that should be in the reptile (animal) industry. :ack2:

(no comment on your reaction to those that do so)...

I agree 100% Next day and properly packaged. I'm of the thought that any animal must be treated with total respect. Even feeders, does not matter if they are newborn or adult should have as much quality of life as possible.
