Took a few pics of a male hypo motley today...
These shots are in "indirect sunlight" - not in the shade, but there is a tree mostly blocking the direct sun.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE THE SUN MAKES!!

As the title of this post suggests, we moved out into the yard - full sunlight - for these next shots.

it's amazing how much the lighting changed the look of that snake, looks like 2 different snakes when looking at the color alone!

He's 66% het albino....but I'm not counting on proving him out this year.
My current plan is to put him with the super hypo in my avatar. A litter of superhypos and awesome hypo motleys...plus, there's still a chance for super and motley sunglows, because she's poss het albino, too.

Now I just have to be a good boy for the rest of the year, so brownie points and good karma bring fancy boa babies

See how that green background makes more difference then the "light" ?

I do . . . . .

I probably should have done a few shots on the blue background under the same conditions - wasn't thinking....
Anyway, here are a few shots in early morning - good light, but not direct sun.
If the sun cooperates, I'll do comparison shots later today.
(unfortunately, their routine color changes may come into play - too bad I can't turn on the afternoon sun at my convenience)

My brain is engaging, slowly.....
Here's the original snake (hypo mot) on the same table - with the green background - in morning light (no direct sun)

Not as intense as the pics in direct sun, but definitely better than on the blue background.....that makes sense, though - as awesome as redheads with blue eyes are, a redhead with green eyes is just OMG. :dgrin:

I was just looking back at those first pics - I'm pretty sure that scrub shirt was navy blue...a lot darker than those pictures showed. The color battle with my camera continues.

I know I like the pics my camera takes when there is some green in there. Black background works too, since it's a neutral color.

I think all those last pictures you posted turned out pretty good. Some nice looking critters.
