In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Reptilesncritters.com - Thieves

Show Me, I see that I was right, that you will be 100% against my company no matter what I do. Anything that I say or do will never be able to please some people, yourself included. Therefore anything you do say or insinuate will naturally reflect your bias which seeks only to condemn, rather than look at things objectively. I guess making changes for the better is not good enough for you.

Yeah you will never please me. Your not fooling me I know you were aware of what you were doing and that's called stealing. I'm not sitting here typing for your pleasure, I'm here to keep this tread going so that more people will be informed of your dishonest acts. I also hope you get sued, jail time sounds good as well. :yesnod:

Hey since you say this thread has gotten you more customers... I want you to post a large link to this thread on the front page of your business website.

Christina, Christina, has anyone ever told you what a harsh, unforgiving person you are? If not, then I am now. Have a pleasant day and try and put a smile on someones face.

I think right now you have alot to prove to everyone. first thing is the image acquisition. what you really meant is stealing pictures then cropping off the photographers names so you can use them on your site as your own.

You calling anyone intellectually dishonest is what the proof posted in this thread has shown about you and your shady business.

My guess is you have no animals to take pictures of.

Ed, once again, your bias against by business is showing through again. No one here is cropping anyones photos to remove anyones names. All of our recent photo acquisitions have been 100% legitimate and if you actually took the time to view my website you will clearly see that hundreds of images have been credited.

Also, it's completely irrelevant as to whether I have any of the animals to take pictures off. This is a global business and if I decide to allow other companies to handle the animals and ship them to my customers, what do you care? The end results are the same when my customers get their animals delivered to their door.

I am not bias to your business at all, never heard of you nor do I know you.your actions have brought attention and questions about the way you do business.

In your own words you stated you are a drop shipper. you have demonstrated you know nothing about the animals by the descriptions you have tagged the stolen pics with.

You say that the end results are the same if they buy an animal that was drop shipped from you or if it came from a private breeder with a wealth of knowledge that loves their animals and cares for them like they are family, which in most cases they are.

The fact that you are selling animals that you have never seen makes the difference monumental in most animal lovers eyes.

You did crop my name completely off the 2 stolen pics of albino woodhouse toads posted on your site.

Please post a copy of your U.S. Fish and Wildlife export permit to prove that you are indeed a global business as you have stated.

I'm very forgiving to those who make a honest mistakes but your not making a honest mistake, your stealing and know it. I couldn't care less what you think of me, I'm just here to make your thieving life more difficult. :reddevil: If you were to ever use a photo I took you can bet I would sue your :censored:. I also would go back and contact everyone you have stole photos from and ask them if they would be interested in a class action lawsuit. I would do everything possible to sink your business. I wonder if your paying into the IRS everything you owe or if your hiding income...something to be looked into.

Let me give you an analogy. Say you are an archeologist and you discover a new dinosaur bone. Now Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and the logical conclusion is that these bones are not the result of any new activity but of life that has long since died out.
Just because this bugs me as a paleontologist, paleontologists deal with fossils (dinosaurs, mammoths, etc) and archaeologists deal with dead people and their remains and objects. If an archaeologist found a dinosaur bone, he'd call in a specialist.. which, to further your poor analogy, is what YOU should do; hire a professional, instead of the amateur hour theft and inaccuracies you have been 'dealing with'.

You know, you specialists can be such an obtuse bunch of folks. O.K. then, if a PALEONTOLOGIST finds a dinosaur bone. I guess then if the paleontologist found a fossil of a fern frond you would obviously stop digging until a proper paleobotanist is found. Please, give me a break Indiana Jones.

Christina, get your facts strait. To steal is to imply that you or your friends have been deprived of owning something. If a thief breaks into someone's house and steals a valuable object then the victim is deprived of his possession. In the case of copy-write infringement, which is the correct term for your accusations, a person IS NOT deprived of their possession. This does not make it copy-right infringement right of course, but it still is an entirely different classification. I also do not get the impression that you are a forgiving person at all from the last few sentences of your post. It seems to me that you have a very vindictive personality which is why you constantly default to insults and baseless insinuations about matters you have no clue about.

Copy-write infringement= taking someone hard work without paying for it and then using those images to make money= stealing. You can call it whatever you want but it's stealing to me.

Coming from a police officer here...

It IS copy right infringement..

If i found my photos on your site I would take legal action.

From your responses I will never do any business with you. You are a sorry excuse fpr a human.

Thanks for this thread.

Christina, I guess you can believe what you want to believe but it still does not change the fact that copy-write infringement is not defined as stealing.

With the exception of real, profesional photographers, who actually know their craft, I would not qualify the vast hordes of amateur reptile enthusiasts who snap a few poorly composed photos and throw them in a blog or forum as "hard work". However, I do know that many breeders put a lot of hard work into their photographs, and I am not talking about a few of these more creative hobbyists.

Excuse me!!! Amateur photographers can have hard work, memories and love for their photos which equals photos you can't afford to buy because they are priceless!!! They don't want to see some :censored: come along and rip off their photo and find it on a :censored: website.

So, what you trying to say is that if an amateur who takes a picture of their favorite pet, no matter how lame the photograph is, that this somehow constitues hard work? Interesting. As far as priceless is concerned, while a persons memories of their beloved pet might be such, I seriously doubt they have any monetary value.

You took a picture from national geographic?!!!! Wow, you really are itching to ruin yourself. Do you realize just how much money you can be sued for? Each owner of every photo you used can sue you. Personally I don't know how you can sleep at night.

Well, I hope everyone has a pleasant weekend. I am off to the beach tomorrow. I'll try very hard to disappoint everyone by not drowning or getting eaten by a shark. Face it, you know some of you are wishing it would come true. Just so as to not get anyones false hopes up, I'll check in again for a post or two on Saturday or Sunday. If none of you hear from me by Monday they it's safe to assume that I have drowned or have been eaten by a shark. In the meantime I expect you all to keep finding other peoples copy-written images so we can remove them as fast as you find them.

I have pictures that are crappy looking to "most people" that I wouldn't sell for any amount of money as they are the world to me. I might share them on a website for friends to see but that doesn't give anyone permission to use them and I sure in the heck would sue someone if I found them on a website for capital gain.

Why would you feel you should be able to use anyones pictures without permission? Are you so lazy? Are you to cheap? Are you poor? Do you have no morals?
