    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I saw his add http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=259703&highlight=pied and offered a trade for my 2011 Super Mojave male.

He said it looked good. We exchanged pm's and he wanted both of us to ship on Monday. I said I wanted him to ship first since he has only 12 posts. I asked for references he gave me lovingexodics and bestinrepts. I couldn't find either one. He said he wouldn't ship first and this feels.....strange.

I am not posting good or bad but want to know if anyone here has done any deals with him. Yes I know he has one good guy thread but the poster has like 10 posts and joined this year, so I am looking for more information.

If anyone wants our PM's shown I can show them but I don't know how to post them (I know I am a bit computer challenged)

Very interesting Angela. It seems we are both in a trade deal for the same animal to be shipped on the same day. We have been in negotiations with a Blaine/Danielle Willard since 7/24 & originally agreed to ship out on 7/27. However, on 7/25, we agreed to do same-day shipping on Monday, 8/1. That particular exchange is below. I have several PM's regarding this whole trade deal but there are too many to list. I'm going to notify unlimited feeders regarding this thread & see what they have to say.

Angela, I'm not sure if you had a typo, or if he did, but it's Loving_exotics.

Also, I only know Blaine from chat, so I don't know anything about his business dealings, but hopefully everyone gets this sorted out soon.
 
I have had many offers that i have considered but have not been what i was looking for i am looking for the best deal with a trade on my snake and the best shipping time. while also looking at BOI threads and checking feedback from others that have done buisness with the someone i am trading. I have been screwed over to many times to not check everything. I dont ship first for that reason. if the person trading doesnt like that i am sorry find someone else to trade with.

And for Angela when someone doesnt return your PM that might just mean they are not interested anymore or have found another trade. Like i have done.

I own a very successful feeder buisness i dont have time to be on this site 24hr a day to answer PM's.. I will get to them when i can.

We do have a good BOI thread.

How funny! He was going to trade with me on Monday as well - the pied in exchange for my albino and pewter. We have exchanged numerous emails over the past week, and I asked him just today if he still wanted to do the trade, to which he replied at 8:22 AM.:

Yeah Tuesday shipping will work to.

Needless to say, I am not happy. I lost a potential trade on one snake, and a sale on another.
 
Personally, I would let someone know that I am taking another offer or trade. I'm not sure if this is common, but I would hope that someone would do the same for me. And I'd do it to protect myself, because this thread could very easily make you look like you are trying to scam someone or are a bad guy. It only takes a few seconds to send a PM saying that you felt they lost interest and were moving on to the next person. I just see it as a common courtesy.

And no problem about the correction. Just wanted to make sure she was at least looking for the right person, and I knew that's who you meant.

You agree to more than one trade deal then just stop corresponding with them when you find a better deal?

I would think he would at least tell people from the get go that he is considering other trades as they come in. Like I said, it only takes a few moments to tell someone a deal is off.
 
I know i probably went about this whole trade deal the wrong way. But i am still new to the bp world and trading. I have had so many offers that have came in. i was trying to see which offer would further my breeding project the most and when i thought i found it another offer camn in that was better than the last. I am going to make a trade with the best offer to further my breeding project. and if i went about it the wrong way and offended people then i am sorry.
 
We typically want good customer service from people. Remember that when you provide it, would it be the level of customer service you would want if the tables were turned? To me, this has nothing to do with the bp world, but common courtesy. If you have time to make several deals with people, and even discuss shipping dates, then you have time to add in one extra line about not committing yet, but considering other options. I'm not trying to be harsh, just honest, because I know had this happened to me where I felt the trader flaked, I'd be ticked off, too.
 
If you're talking "shipping dates", why wouldn't the other party take that to mean that the trade is a done deal?? Sounds like to me, you're hoping that someone will ship you a snake, and that you'll get away with keeping it and the one you've already got...if you have one. Just saying what it looks like from the outside looking in.

Not to mention agreeing to trade the same animal on the same day with multiple people without informing them you are backing out makes you look like your up to something dishonest.

Then agreeing and backing out every time someone else comes up with another trade gives the appearance your word isn't worth much. I know a animal isn't sold until you receive funds but in trades if you keep agreeing and commit to ship dates, then backing out at the last minute to multiple people isn't very professional.

If you want to wait for better offers, state it. Don't commit to trade then back out. You burn a lot of bridges that way.
 
Agreed, Matthew. How many other people were going to ship their snakes out this coming week? This leaves one to really wonder if there is a pied at all. We even we asked for additional pics of her but never got them. The moment we began negotiations, I made it known that I had a potential sale for one of the animals on our end & that I needed to give them 24 hrs to put a payment down. Once the grace period passed we were good to go, or so I thought.

I'm glad that I told him that I would not ship without first seeing additional pictures of the pied. Looking through our emails, he has had various excuses as to why he doesn't have pictures. Hmmm...
 
I really wish I could remember if he mentioned a pied in chat. Not sure how much it would be worth, but at least it would be something. Dang my goldfish memory.......
