    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know you guys have been waiting years for these pics... there were just never that many produced and those that had them kinda wanted it hush hush... But i guess its about time. Plus its a lot easier then getting an email every other month or so asking if this or that is a Black Belly lol.

Yellow Jackets- these are probably the most intensely colored ball pythons you will ever see. And they stay amazing as adults!

I have no idea why a dark morph (black belly) does this when combined with a pastel. But as you can see from the pics above they seem to be a strong pattern and color morph. When combined with a pastel they keep the banded pattern and create an odd head pattern. The clean brown/bronze becomes bright yellow. The deep blacks become an even more contrasty dark solid black. Should be amazing when crossed with other morphs!

amazing and thanks for sharing some info, especially when others are holding information so tight. Any chance of you letting us in on what the markers are so that you get even less emails of " Is this one?" I see the head stamp in the first pic, but apparently there are other markers and characteristics that are atypical to this morph. Would appreciate any info you can offer. Congrats on producing the yellowjackets.

amazing I truely under estimated the black belly, I saw some available and totally passed it up because I thought nothing of it but now I need one!

What other combos have been made with the black belly? is there a super morph?

Oooooo very nice!!! Something else to add to the want list for sure! I'm interested to see the belly pics. If that's what it goes when paired to a pastel, I can't wait to see other combos made! Wow! Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup:

Thanks! There is a lot involved with them and some variation... The crisp bronze/brown is important as well as dark solid blacks. Also almost all of them have sorta blocky heads. There is more i will go into over time. The bellies (which i will post a pic of soon) have black all over them.

Be careful if offered one, only 2 of us have ever produced them. Ian G. and myself. I know Scott Hager and Paul M purchased some from me a few years back and should be producing them this year (Ian sold some to a few other people, i can find out who for sure if interested). Other then that they are possibles at best... not every snake with black on their stomachs is a Black Belly. I know as i got some from africa that did not prove out. I have 1 more unproven i that i will try this year.

Nothing else has been done with them yet... Ian never put much time into the project as he had other animals he was working with. The few Black Belly and Jacket females out there should all be adults this season. So we should find out if there is a super (i dont have one :ack2: )
 
Still waiting for those belly shots. You are no fun teasing us like this. I have been searching for months and can't find any verifiable pics. This wait is killing me. lol
 
I'm also very interested in seeing pictures of the belly of the black belly. I have a female that I've always wondered if she was one, and I plan to breed her to my lemon pastel this season just to see. She's not a dark snake though, so she probably isn't going to prove to be one, now that I know that fact.

Remember... its not just the belly stripe... it has to have ALL the traits. I have had 3 so far not prove on me... the only on that has been a black belly so far is the Yellow Jacket i got from Ian...

Ah well - I doubt my girl will prove out then. Hopefully she'll still make some pretty pastels though.

Here's what I had hoped might be black belly. I don't think she's dark enough though and the belly isn't exactly the same. :(
